hahaha...sometimes. She has been crying this time. It is so amazing how happy she is when she gets to get up from being put down for bed and drink another bottle. We actually just switched the bottle to a sippy cup and she is not the best drinking out of it yet.

Ah, Silas is still on the bottle until after his cleft palate surgery next Friday. We have to take the no-spill valve out of the sippy cups for him to drink out of them and it's just a mess unless we're supervising him.

Roommate was laid up for 10 days. That was only like 6 weeks ago. Now he's sick with another sore throat. Sucks to him.

Yeah. Without the valve in, the liquid flows pretty freely. It's easier for them to drink from if they're really thirsty. No suction required. But they have to get use to the flow or they drown.

If you haven't tried drinking from your kid's cup, you should give it a try w/ the no-spill valve. It can be pretty frustrating if you're really hungry/thirsty. There is a reason it is called a sippy cup.

My friend had his tonsils out last year. His kept getting enlarged and infected and were attributing to some pretty severe sleep apnea.

It's not routine, but they'll still take them out if need be.

Mine would get so inflammed and swollen that I could barely swallow and I pretty much stayed sick. I very rarely get sick now(knock on wood)
