Yeah classes are full. I decided to keep my major, which involved me dropping 2 classes and trying to find something else. I've only found 1. I'm SOL this semester. On a better note, this gives me a legit reason to switch to a different department now so I can actually attend lectures during the day ^_^ (which I ironically enjoy more so that DE)

i just realized i have 5 days of vacation left this year and not one day planned. what should i do with my time TWW? space it out between now and christmas, giving myself 5 3-day weekends? or take it all one week and just veg the fuck out?

get in a position where you are difficult to get to and extract from the scene, turn up the furniture and just barricade everything


and eat a few good meals before you do it, and choose a good hot week to do it

and make sure you are blow your brains out towards a wall, thats look real cool, try to collapse in a heap, dont go out straight thats too easy

I was riding my bike to the metro station. I was riding to the one that's further from my apartment because I wanted to get more exercise. So I was riding on the sidewalk. I was crossing at a light and the mini van that was there at the light was trying to make a right turn on red. She was paying attention to the traffic that was oncoming and she didn't see me.

I crossed in front of her (I had the right of way) and she accelerated into me. I went up on the hood a little bit and then fell to the ground. Hit my head but luckily had my helmet on my head.

Nothing broken but I can't put wieght on the leg that was struck by the mini van.

I have a follow up appoitment on monday to see about ligament or tendon damage.

One thing I will mention is that I do NOT suggest riding your bike across traffic at a cross-walk.

It is a risky move because drivers often cannot tell whether you plan to cross the road or continue down the sidewalk as you approach a crosswalk on your bicycle. If you are riding and you just turn off the sidewalk and roll out into traffic people can easily hit you because they don't know that you're about to turn and you move much faster on a bicycle than you do on foot. You should ALWAYS stop, get off and walk the bike across a cross-walk, for reasons you're now well aware of!

Yea unfortunately that would add like an hour to my commute if I did that. People just need to pay attention. I try to be safer by not riding in the road.
