That's twice in 10 minutes I said a very simple thing to my husband that he didn't hear AT ALL.

"I'm going to lay down...not nap. My back is just hurting."
And while laying down his phone rings, so I take it to him.
"Your phone just rang."

He follows me back to the room after giving him his phone. "are you taking a nap?" "No i'm just laying down bc my back hurts" And then "I'm gonna plug this back in"--"well who called you?" "Oh my phone rang?" "Yes that's why I brought it to you!"

I think he needs a hearing test.

we missed a great vintage dresser this week due to a flaky seller. We confirmed with her over the phone that we wanted to buy this dresser and could pick it up on Saturday and she said "great just call me Saturday morning" (this was Thursday). Saturday rolls around and we call the lady in the morning and she says "oh sorry I sold that yesterday!"

However, today, we found a different vintage dresser in a similar style on craigslist and we are going to look at it tomorrow. I kind of like this one better than the previous one but it is also a little bit more. Crossing my fingers that this one works out
