Is there any way you could make more false statements in this sentence??

he didn't go to JUCO, he played at Hargrave for a season

He mentioned a few schools and said he wanted to win a championship. He didn't say anything about NC State being out.

Meh, all he did was answer a question about schools that the interviewer led him into. Means absolutely nothing.

Duke turns 5* post player recruits into glorified pick setters. What the hell is that talking about?

If I was a big man I'd shy far, far away from Duke.

The list is just too long of failed big men.

Duke used to actually have some decent big men. Boozer, Battier, Brand, Admiral Ackbar. Every since then though, they have turned into some hybrid 3 and 4 guard offense that shoots threes out of their ass.

Battier wasn't really much of a big. His game was more like Singler's. Boozer left before Duke could ruin him.

Boozer also didn't develop much of a post game until the pros. He got most of his points at Duke as open dunks of dish offs and offensive rebounds a la Eric Williams at Wake.

Sheldon Williams had limited offensive game.

Brand was a beast as a freshman.

Battier was a perimeter player playing the 4.

Two Purvis stories in one day

Quote :
"Purvis' game surrounded by talk
Rodney Purvis is Raleigh's latest basketball sta

Raleigh, N.C. — On the court, Upper Room Academy guard and North Carolina State commit Rodney Purvis lets his game do the talking. Away from the court he loves to simply talk - and so do others.

Cruising around the Broughton High School gym Wednesday night following a 31-point performance in a seven-point win at the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational, Purvis spent nearly an hour talking to a group of kids. As he puts it, “I just love talking to people.”

Fans, kids, teammates, family, media - Purvis talks to them all. Another group of people he doesn’t leave out, his future teammates who, along with head coach Mark Gottfried, came to see Wednesday’s game.

“I talk to Lorenzo (Brown) and CJ (Leslie) once or twice a week,” Purvis said while joining Mark and Mike, The Insiders, on 620 AM The Buzz Thursday morning. “Our relationship is really good and I love the fact that they came to support me at my game. It’s really great to have your future teammates and head coach courtside to come and see you play.”

It’s not just Purvis doing the talking though. People interested in the NC State program and beyond also love talking about the 6-foot-4 playmaker.

“It is kind of mind blowing, everyone knowing everything about you,” Purvis said. “If they go to the internet they can find whatever they want about you so it is kind of gets crazy at times.”

Crazy like being responsible for the day’s biggest crowd at Broughton – but even then he had one thing nobody knew about him.

On Wednesday, Purvis put up 21 points by half and was ‘shut down’ in the second, being held to just 10 more. He said he didn’t eat enough before the game and had a stomach ache as the game wore on.

That may be the one thing that people did not know about Purvis as he walked onto the court, however.

Purvis said he “never felt alone” when he visited NC State and knew he wanted to go there once Gottfired took over. Doing a little more talking, Purvis has a message for NC State hoops fans letting them know they will get “someone who will take no plays off and wants to win and compete.”"

He has to say "all right" for it to count as a verbal. Unrecognized conjunctions are no longer a valid agreement.

Either way, you just committed a recruiting violation and posted evidence of said violation. The NCAA is on their way to strip us of our Old Spice Tourney banner and extract your testicles as compensation.

I saw him, if he was the one right behind the bench. I couldn't read his sign very well, but I"m pretty sure it said "All I want for 2012 is Julius Randle". However, Randle is in the class of 2013. He also had something written on the other side of the sign that I couldn't read. It'd be neat to have another "Julius" (that's good )

and i thought purvis was behind the bench in a white tshirt, but couldn't tell for sure.

from what i've heard, its the entire family that is messed up. Supposedly his brother has transferred from and played at MULTIPLE schools while in college. I say we just rid ourself of that family. They sound like they are no good.

I for one am not hating on the kid, I just don't know what the status is now. After he decommitted the last time he said he was still going to come here, so are we just not interested anymore? Weird.

im not hating on the kid. I was just pointing out that his brother has transferred from numerous schools. Therefore, putting those facts with the fact that this guy has committed AND DE-COMMITTED from us TWICE........I would separate myself from this family immediately if I were Coach Gott.

However, he knows a shat-ton more than I do, so whatever he does I'm cool with.
