I got over the drinking alone thing after living alone for a little while. And by "a little while" I probably mean like, 2 days.

If I'm drinking alone, then I'm usually cleaning and tidying random stuff around my apartment while drinking alone. I'm also probably watching musicals and singing along at the top of my lungs. This is very hard on my heart

It was too soon for me to try to go out and have fun last night...I didn't even last an hour before I had to go home and lay in bed and cry myself to sleep.

It didn't help that the friend who was supposed to be my support was stuck up her flavor of the month's ass all night...jeez

The hardest part for me at this moment is the one person that I have gone to for comfort and to give me the extra support when I needed it is the last person I should go to now.

I just have to keep reminding myself why I broke up with him...that seems to be the only thing that keeps me from falling apart. If I allow myself to get angry with him I feel better, right now I'd rather be angry than sad I've been sad long enough.

I just joined Weight Watchers. I've never tried it before, but I know several people who have done really well with it. And it'll be nice to feel good about myself physically again. I had already started to lose weight with my new job. Working in PE all day and playing the games with the kids has really helped me get up off my ass.

I did decide that this Lenten season I would focus on bettering myself mentally, physically, and spiritually.
I think it's really time to take control of my life and get myself to where I've wanted to be for a while.
