looks cool but in reality it's only about 600 lbs added which would be ~6/10th's of a second in the 1/4. curious as to what his speed was when he let out? a duramax has the world record of top speed pulling a trailer which is 14x.

saw both of these in person last Friday at the 44th annual Threshers Reunion in Denton, NC. Adam8778 and I spent about 5mins talking to the owner/builder, very intelligent guy. the 4wd unit sports (2) hydrostatic transmissions that are linked, a center pivot joint that pivots and rotates, and a hand made 'drop box' transmission that connects the engine to the driveshaft driving the transmissions. The tracked unit sports an aftermarket kohler engine setup and what appears to be an electronic controller for steering.
