i wasn't playing well today either. couldn't get out of the 1:1 to save my life. not to mention hosts kept ending games and shit, i feel like i played crossfire about 8 times out of my 12 or so rounds. i hate that level for the night

Played a few rounds tonight, a couple with HUR. I distinctly remember going in my last two matches 25-8 and 33-4 (not too far off that pace the rest of the time). My worst game was like 28-22. Got back up to level 20 on prestige 4. Lag was pretty bad tonight... had a bunch of games dropping out.

I prefer being in the top 2 and having the best kill:death. If I had to pick I would say I respect k:d more than score for sure. I've seen several guys finish 7-1 that had far more impact on the game then the guys who go 33-38. If I play on a team with a patient and aware sniper (or LMG) then I can usually get a few airstrikes and helis in no time. They will watch your backside instead of trying to swipe the kills of the guys your are taking out in an alley/clearing. It really is something else to watch the really great players. I mean, stat-wise I am clearly above average but the guy we played with the other night was schooling me left and right.

As for the stats:
Accuracy is just over 18%
k:d is 1.62 (probably drop a little while I get through the lower levels)
win percentage is rough, like 0.82
I do believe 24 is my max streak. Hit 10 a couple times tonight and I think one of those peaked at 15. BTW, like Tree, I also intentionally get wrecklessly aggressive as soon as I hit 7 kills... no point in sitting on the helis.
I only have like 9 friends so don't really know how that stacks up in the community.

this is the only first-person shooter game I've ever played on a console, so I was really struggling with it last night. I was going 3-20 almost all night.

I played again between 10 and 11 after my post ^above. Played better, but still couldn't get things going.

Is there a way to tell if you are hosting a match (non-party)? I was in a tight match on creek but had to get off for somethign real quick and the teams were tied 350-350 and I went to quit which ended up ending the game for everyone. Needless to say they were pissssssssssssed. I had no idea I was the host.

i don't know if theres any way to tell if you're hosting a match...but on creek if you have on a ghillie suit just lay down!

^^do you just get a ghillie suit automaticall depending on the weaponry/map you are on? or is there a way to permanently have one?

sniper rifle as primary weapon = ghillie suit

i often pick a sniper class for Creek and Overgrown because theres so much grass to blend into and lots of good sniping spots...so I was just saying if you had a sniper class you could almost just lay down in the grass instead of quitting...I'll do that sometimes if I have to take a leak or something

i do think the board affects it as well, ie they're not gonna give you a big green ghillie suit to run around in a yellow and tan desert town

^i've been playing a bit with the M14 (just got it) and MP5 silenced w/ frag x3, overkill, and deep impact. I like the silenced MP5 but it def kills the range on it.

I'll use dead silence and uav jammer but i just cannot tolerate the decrease in range the silencer gives my MP5.


yesterday while playing though i got so pissed off. some douche 3 different times one shot killed me w/ the M40 at moderately close range. Whats worse is twice it was no scope. he must have had his hacks on.

turn on uav jammer and steady aim, I promise you'll get a ton more head shots with the mp5

on wet works if you time it right you can pop out from behind a crate and get a few of em

my two longest streaks are both on backlot

the first time I jumped immediately on a turret and got the first 14 kills for my team, after 8 I was like, guys, take b and c, and they did

the other time I just went on a spree, teammates(british people) were bugging out to me, I checked the tally and I was 18-1

otherwise if I get 7 in a row I'm happy

if any of you play with happycamper, he is really good.

I am going to MURDER some hardcore FFA. I just started playing S&D this weekend, and i get pretty pissed off when the fuckers on my team wont go after the bomb and try to set it, and instead prefer to sit back and wait for people to come to us, so I'll probably love the multi-bomb S&D.

i just sold my HDTV so i'm now playing on an old 27" SD TV. it blows ass. BUT strangely i've been doing really good ever since. i feel like i have really good aim. maybe its giving me SD aiming resolution, woot.

^i feel like i play better on my SD tv. I play on a 54 inch "big screen" SD tv. I've played a lot on a buddy's big HDTV and for a week on my bro's when I was house sitting. I play so much better on the SD for some reason. my reactions seem more delayed on the HD, maybe i'm too busy looking at all the detail instead of playing.


played with dammit100 and some of his buds for a few hours today. I struggled a bit, hovering around 1:1. big change from my morning rampage. Hopefully i'll get a couple more games in tonight
