let's see, the lack of tackling, coupled with the inability to cover for a few seconds (see short passes from other teams) makes me think they, as a group, such at coverage. teams have been tearing us up via short passes that happen within a few seconds, not 10 seconds.

What issue would that be? This is only the second year were injuries have seriously been an issue. Last year it was not, and look how we did. I swear, you guys can make anything look miserable:

"4 out of 5 years." During that 1 out of 5 years, we had our best record since 2003 and we were in the hunt for an ACC championship. A team that once finishd 3-9 has since been to two bowls and finished last season 9-3. But yeah, keep thinking this program is on the decline.

"Our secondary sucks." - One of our CB's is playing out of his mind and leads the nation in INTs, but I can't give him any credit because that will hurt my sweeping generalization.

"All of Glennon's numbers are inflated because we're already losing." - This is just an extension of wanting to blame O'Brien for Wilson leaving to Wisconsin. Nothing more, nothing less. He's in the top 15 for passing yards this season after only playing 4 games in his career. Christ, you guys would crucify Philip Rivers if he laced back up. Bunch of misplaced frustrations these days.

our secondary is pretty good, our scheme just flat out sucks and keeps them in bad positions. glennon was supposed to be great so him not panning out is not on TOB at alll. The rest of the team is on TOB.

one thing the Big 10 does better than most, is frontloading everyone's schedule with out-of-conference games. The ACC loves to schedule teams in week 2, which doesn't do anyone any favors, in my opinion.

But the reality is our offense is subpar and our defense blows. TOB won't be around much longer, he can't win himself out of this situation. Our team sucks this year, won't be much if any better next year, and will completely suck sac after Glennon leaves.

the stat they just showed on gameday says it all. rw in 2010 lead the nation by far in converting 3rd and long. way ahead of cam newton (by like 5 conversions)

When you have a guy that can convert 3rd and long, it makes up for your team being bad. Thats how we won 9 games last year. It doesn't mean Glennon sucks. It just means he doesn't have that super ability to take over the game.
