I'm pretty sure most kids in school, most administrators, and half of his family would be fully aware if he hit a bus driver and got suspended for it. What was the evidence that the PD leaked it again? Would any sane person not expect something like that to not be brought to the media's attention?

Wait...Was he suspended for having an empty marijuana baggie or for hitting a bus driver? I think I've seen both posted now?

Eh, depends on who leaked that info. I guess. As far as the school itself, I can't imagine it's their policy to talk to the media about the suspension of students. I can't imagine the parents would leak that info. Initially, the PD said they don't discuss stuff like that about minors.

I don't know who else besides friends who would even know.

And who cares if he had a bloody nose if he started the fight himself? He wasn't hurt to the extent that he needed medical attention. He wasn't carried away in a body bag.

A bloody nose in a fist fight does not equal imminent thread of serious bodily harm. ESPECIALLY if you instigated the fight yourself.

I'm not saying you have to wait until you get beat to a pulp, or that you need to be near death before you pull the trigger. But if you START a fight, if you FOLLOW someone, and then you get punched in the face (if that actually happened), then you can't say you were just defending yourself when you killed the other person.

There are situations in which you can shoot someone before you get your ass beat. There are situations where you can shoot someone during you getting your ass beat. There are situations in which you started a fight, and it escalates out of your control, and you can still shoot someone in self defense. But none of those situations apply here.

When you have more witnesses who state that Martin was on the ground, and one who states that Zimmerman was, then you call into question the veracity of those witnesses, and yes, age would be a factor.

I think 3 eyewitnesses, not including Zimmerman. Then unconfirmed number of witnesses who overheard the fight (last I saw was 5-6 reports?) All but 1 say Martin was the one shouting "help me".

Schools are gossipy as hell. I'm sure there are tons of administrators, school board officials, teachers, students, and parents of students who are aware of what happened. While the school officials should be tight lipped about it there's no way this type of info isn't going to hit the news. To assume the leak came from the police department when there are probably hundreds of potential whistle blowers who are otherwise uninvolved with the case is a joke unless there is evidence to the contrary.

literally it means you are in the minority and it used to be universally applicable because there are less blacks or hispanics than whites in this country.

simple enough right?

until recently whites were eligible for minority scholarships at historically black colleges in NC due to the literal use of this term.

but i believe that was rescinded in 2009 because whites can *never* be classified as minority (and therefore dont need a handout), so really you cant take it to mean "less than" in this nation anymore.

so yeah, it basically means non-white and will continue to mean so even when there are less whites.

According to info leaked to the Orlando Sentinel, he had 1 suspension in the past for "graffiti" (writing "WTF" on a locker) and one for having marijuana residue in a bag.

There's reference to an incident where he had a bunch of jewlery and a screw driver, but it's not clear why he didn't get in trouble for this, or if this has been **CONFIRMED***.
