Ok, so on the high end, 1 bln/ year to maintain the wall and provide employment to officers.

How much does the JCE crowd think we are losing per year on illegal immigrants use of roads, subsidies, insurance, etc?

That is a question JCE, that I'm asking you to answer, because I'm sure you have a figure. How much money do these immigrants cost us every year? Is it close to 1bln, is it more, less?

Oh, by the way.... these are immigrants who while here in the U.S. are at a minimum paying sales tax, and perhaps pay income tax as well. These are also immigrants who are doing jobs that Americans just don't want to do. The wall is a solution in search of a problem, sure.

Don't you get it? Those Mexicans came and stole JCE's beloved migrant fruit picking job. He would be living the high life if it wasn't for those damn illegals.

The reasons Americans don't want to do those jobs is because they pay nothing.

Illegal immigrants are poor, uneducated, and have much higher birthrates. Many send their money back to Mexico, and if not, their anchor babies overwhelmingly take more from the system than they give.

Naturally as a result, they also vote overwhelmingly democrat, meaning any liberals here will no doubt see tons of anti-wall narratives from their favorite liberal news sources, because liberals benefit from illegal immigration.

And that's excluding the bad hombres.

How convenient

I'm sure that's just a coincidence though

I assume that your solution for this is for landowners to voluntarily incentivize their workers to do these laborous jobs through added wages or benefits?

And the landowner should raise their prices accordingly to at least match their net earnings once the extra expenses are factored in.

And people in general should accept that products will cost more as a result?

And if the landowner finds that his business is unsustainable (after all efforts to try and improve efficiency, because people are revolting at the idea of paying more for a product), that he should close up shop and find something new to do?

It couldn't possibly be that Trump did business in the countries the US has been heavily invested in since WWII and banned the countries that we actively bombed or hunted pirates in during the Obama administration. No, it had to be because of a conflict of interest.

That's because the data is all based off estimates of estimates of estimates. If you want to ballpark it most conservatives would say around $100 billion a year.

Then again most can't even agree on how many illegals are in the country. The lowest estimates say 10 million but the farther right you go it goes above 30 million.

Anchor babies cost a lot too, though they aren't counted in this figure for illegal immigration. However low income, high-birthrate individuals will typically have low-income, high-birthrate offspring.

Open borders don't work with a welfare state.

https://therealdeal.com/2017/01/27/george-soros-is-the-secret-financier-behind-kushner-backed-startup-cadre/

Quote :
"George Soros’ Soros Fund Management has quietly been financing the Kushner-backed real estate finance startup Cadre with a substantial credit line, according to sources familiar with the matter.
A source familiar with the financing arrangement told The Real Deal that “Soros has had a long and productive relationship with the Kushner family.” Another source told TRD that Kushner Companies president Laurent Morali played a key role arranging the financing, but a Kushner Companies spokesperson disputed that account, claiming that “Kushner Cos. has never been involved in Cadre in any capacity
Business Insider first reported the existence of $250-million credit line in June, but didn’t mention its source."

I would like to know HOW illegal immigrants costs the USA 100 million, HOW many are from south of the boarder and HOW many came here by walking.

Which would be more cost effective? Building a wall that doesn't guarantee it will keep most illegals out anyways, or finding ways through policy to deincentivize illegal immigration?

How about massive fines for any corporation employing an illegal immigrant? Is that a worse idea than building a wall? Would it cost more?

Dental, Mr JCE didn't say 100 million. He said 100 BILLION. As in, eleventy billion dollars.

I could almost swallow 100 million, But if Sean Hannity is telling him that they cost us 100 billion, no wonder he thinks a wall might help.

if they do have extremists, then why didn't the Obama administration drone strike them on a daily basis like everywhere else? Why didn't Bush launch a ground invasion on them to root out terrorism? We ignored the danger of those countries for 16 years, but continuing to do so for one more week while publicly purging the entrenched CIA and state officials that have kept us cozy with the Saudis is an atrocity?

He probably won't add them and it won't be a scandal. We have strong diplomatic ties with them and it would make no sense to add them right now.

I don't agree with most of what ^^ says but this is looking for a scandal when there isn't one.

Yep, the E-verify system may need some tweaks, give the law some extra teeth, etc, but way cheaper than a wall and likely way more effective.

It has the added benefit of evening the playing field here in the US among companies that are currently playing by the rules versus those companies willing to employ the undocumented.

no one is refuting your argument. WE ARE ASKING WHY ONE ROUTE IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN THE OTHER.

No one is giving the impression you support fining companies that hire illegals. But it does open up the question, why is building a physical structure favorable for a man such as trump who prides himself as a master deal maker? He should make a deal with the corporations of America to stop the destruction of the natural born work force by fining the fuck out of companies.

Lol, Trump would be in his wheelhouse if the wall was already built and he could negotiate a term to slap his name on it. Do people not realize he isn't even a big developer in Manhattan?

He's a huckster turned celebrity turned huckster. That's it.

The most visible trump buildings along the west side are owned by Extell. The famous "TRUMP TOWER" was built by trump but it's a condo building. Lots of stuff on the market.

You can rent a nice 47th floor apt with an ugly yellow paint job for a cool $5900/month.
http://streeteasy.com/building/trump-tower/rental/1838771

Or you can buy this one for a nice 3.1 mil. It looks like someone died in a pile of cocaine in 1985 tho.
