Apparently, the alltel people told my parents that we could activate the phone online. I can't find any way to do it on the alltel website or via googling, so I call the 3 customer service numbers. One of them says to call the 1800 number, another one doesn't mention activating a new phone. The one that does says I can't do it over the phone and to call one of the other numbers.

Try the other number is going somewhere, and then the machine goes "We'd like you take this survey....." *crrrrrrrrrrsssssssssssssssssHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh* [static] and the phone cuts off.

Guess I'll be getting it activated tomorrow.
