Worst worst week. A very special person/coworker lost her 4 year battle with breast cancer tuesday morning. And I saw a friend i havent seen in a year or so last night at work while i was working. It wasnt a social call. I saw her and immediately said OH NO and nearly burst into tears because her family member just rolled into the unit.


Fuck this week.

so I'm kinda nervous. I just sent my estranged niece a message on facebook. I say estranged because we have no real connection with her. Her father (my oldest brother) had her when I was still a baby and we've all kind of lost contact with her and I've kept a respectful distance from her just in case she didn't want to be associated with her biological father in any way. We've been fb friends for years but I noticed a little bit ago that she's running in the Broad Street Run and since I'm running in it too I thought maybe this will be a good time to meet up and say hello. So I sent her a message.

are neighbors in condo/apartment complexes usually so unfriendly? i know one person in my complex. and honestly not even that well. There are 6 units on my side. one husband and wife have never replied to my hellos with more than a cursory smile in the 2.5 years i've lived here. everyone else seems like they are on red alert when outside doing everything they can to avoid each other.

I'm an anxious sort of person, but today is the senior design symposium for engineering, and I can honestly say that I'm not proud of our project. Also, the whole "graduation" thing is freaking me out. I realized last night that my last official day of classes was yesterday. And I still don't have a job.
