the asst mgr tried to tell me (snarkily, AFTER I said 'fine, cancel the transaction. Give me my coupons, and I'll come back when the general mgr is here') that the reason one of my loreal products wasn't free in the BOGO is because it was on clearance. I need to doublecheck the ad, but I'm pretty sure clearance products aren't excluded.

Throughout all of it, he never paid any attention to the line building behind me (I had to say 'can you put the transaction on hold, call a manager, and ring up these folks behind me?' before he acknowledged any of them), tried to find a solution or cause, or do anything than stare at me whenever I said anything.
