got my car serviced at the jeep dealership before my road trip to aspen this weekend. did everything they recommended just to be safe.

what happens? well my dad gum car broke down on a dang mountain 4 hours from where i live. oh guess what else? aspen is the most expensive city ever gas is almost $5.00 there and to get my car towed less than 10 miles...$207.

now i have to figure out how to get back up there and pay for this crapbag. i wonder if my car insurance covers rentals...

For future reference, I'm not usually a huge fan of many insurance products (most of the time, you'll lose money--that's how insurance works), but I think that towing insurance is a pretty decent value. I think mine is like $2/month or something, and they'll pay for a tow up to a certain number of miles. It's usually enough unless you're really out in BFE.

as for the jeep...tried to start her and was showing no fuel which was odd because i had plenty when we parked. so i was thinking my gauge was reading wrong or (less likely) someone stole my gas while my car was parked overnight. anyway went into town to get gas and still wasn't able to get her started, so a mechanic friend who was with us said it was likely my fuel lines or something like that. fuel not getting into the engine? i am pretty much useless when it comes to car stuff.

For me it's the characters and I started watching it and got hooked. The SVU's are way to creepy and weird for me. I mean who wants to watch a crime drama of a grandpa raping his grandchild and killing his son?
