finally the cleaning people are gone and i can be spared the life tips. things i've learned today:

i am spoiled and unhelpful
i must have had everything done for me as a child, and have never worked, thus i don't know how to do anything
elon is a redneck school
ncsu is a stuck up school (but duke is the most stuck up) where spoiled people go
ncsu is as expensive as a private university
i should become a homemaker because that is what women do
24 is old and i should already be married/having children
raising children is easier than a "real" job or school
if you don't pray and go to church, bad things happen to you

i know there were other gems of wisdom, but i can't think of any right now. thank you, patriarchal unc fan that owns his own cleaning service. if that is what you do with a degree from unc, then i will take my ncsu degree and be on my merry way

^^my friend, Morgan, is pregnant (and I've been calling, and will continue to call, the baby girl "Baby Mo" ). baby is due feb 5th. she's dropped, but the baby is breeched. they are doing an external version procedure tomorrow morning (which is turning the baby manually) in hopes that she can still have a vaginal birth.

4 things can happen:
1-everything goes ok, vaginal birth in 2-3 more weeks
2-everything goes ok, but baby flips again before birth and she'll still have to have a c-section
3-baby gets distressed and they stop version then schedule c-section
4-all the moving and shaking gets things a moving and a shaking and she goes in to labor either vaginally or by emergency c-section

well i had to break his lil' heart and tell him that sadly, i have worked. and that i'm not putting myself through law school just to get married. CRAZY, i know.

i also had to tell him i liked obama. he asked me about the election and i KNOW he wanted me to say i liked mccain. i should have. just to see the wisdom spew from his mouth. this guy blew my mind like...who speaks to someone they do not even know like that.
