I'm back on first shift!!! I put my 2 years in on nights, and FINALLY I made it back to days. Although, now I'm a bit nervous; for the last two years I've worked from 2 PM to 1 AM, I'm used to going to bed at 4 AM and Monday I'll have to wake up at 4 AM. And there is a lot more pressure on dayshift, I mean how often do you ever see owners or CEOs or customers touring the plant at midnight? Oh well, being off at 3 in the afternoon has its price...

It's just a BS retail place. I've talked to them before about changing my availability for school and working another job at the same time, but they aren't willing to work it out with me. Thanks guys. I have a bad feeling they are going to be vindictive in my last two weeks. They wrote me up yesterday and I have two weeks to "improve the offense"....so can they fire me after I've given them my two-weeks notice??
