understood. i am the same way with nba street. the demo is uber fun, but i know after 30-45 mins i will tired of it and probably never play it again. i just bored really fast with sports games in general and i can't seem to find incentive to keep playing them. that is not to say that they are not fun, its just they are not really my cup of tea. one good thing about sports games is that they usually (well almost always) have the most replayability of any genre of games. however, table tennis and tiger woods are about the only sports games that can keep me interested longer than 30 mins and that i will play every now and again.

well when table tennis first hit, i thought (like many other) this was just some game that was going to be basically stupid - rockstar was the creator and this tainted my feelings for this game as well. but after looking a a few videos of it, and a few times playing it, i would say this game simulates this sport better than any other sports game for sport. you should be able to find this game for 20 by now, and i would def get this if i were you and if i had 20 extra dollars to spend.

Sorry, my bad. Lack of awareness on my part.

I mean, I'll probably try the demo when it comes on Marketplace. I'm not going to buy it right away. Plus, there hasn't been too much advertisement for the game other than through magazines. I haven't seen a commercial for it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one now that it's out.

^^i recommend buying table tennis because it is a very good pick-up-and-play games by yourself, online, and with friends. it is also a good 'in-between' game, meaning if nothing is really good out, you can spend some time on this getting your xbox 360 daily fix. besides it is dirt cheap, and not like you are spending 50 or 60 bucks for something to collect dust.

I've been playing NBA Street on a consistent basis since I've got the game. I loved the series, so it was easy for me to get into the game. Right now, my team includes myself, Adam Morrison, and Lisa Leslie. It's a badass squad for right now. Hopefully, I can get some better players soon.

I find Street to be fun for about 30 mins while you learn the badass dunks... then absolutely no replay value

I'm going to get mlb 2k7 after work today. I'm hoping the minor league system is a bit better. I don't care about playing the games but in the past the 2k baseball games minor leagues sucked ass.. At least my boy Lastings will be in it since he got some pt in the bigs last year!

Def Jam: Icon seems entertaining, at least. I wasn't able to figure it out, but in the demo you have to blow up stuff by scratching, which in turn hurts your opponent. As far as I can tell, all the fighters in this game are urban black men.

i have a question for anybody that has beaten the crackdown story mode. when you defeat all the bosses are there any gang members left to kill or do you have to just go around doing stunts with your car and finding all the hidden orbs?
i've put off killing the last boss because of this.

Hey guys...

I've tried searching online and can't find anything... I tried connecting to Xbox Live/Marketplace for the first time yesterday from my dorm connection in Bragaw. It's picking up the connection but it stops saying "MTU Failed."

What can I do to fix this??

Any help would be appreciated...

MLB 2K7 is terrific if you like baseball games. It has a few small bugs, such as a roster glitch (that shoul d be patched) that reduces everyone's salary by 90% when you update the roster (and screws up the financial system in franchise mode), and there are a lot of homeruns robbed....but sliders can fix that.

^ Ok, when you open up the game, everyone has their real salaries, teams have their real budgets, etc.

BUT, if you edit or download a roster update, everyone's salary becomes 10% of their actual salary, and teams get 10% of their actual budgets. So instead of A-Rod making 25 MIL, he becomes the highest paid player in the game at 2.5 Mil.

Then when you enter franchise mode, the budgets get decreased to 10% also, so the Yankees have a 25 Million dollar budget instead of 250 mil....

BUT when you try and sign a free agent, or re-sign a player, they ask for REAL salaries (A-rod asks for 25 Million, Clemens asks for 13 million)...so it doesnt fit into your budget and you cant re-sign or sign anyone.
