Graham is a beast this year, stat wise.
#1 All purpose yards, #5 kickoff yards...my ESPN quota just ran out so I'm speculating
Top 10 punt return yards
#36 or so receiving yards
Hopefully he can impress scouts and get drafted 10/12/2011 1:31:11 PM |

ACC honors Manning and Baumann: http://www.theacc.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/110 711aab.html
Quote : | "LINEBACKER – Terrell Manning, NC State, Jr., LB, 6-3, 233, Laurinburg, N.C. Manning had a huge game for the Wolfpack, which shut out UNC for the first time in 51 years. Manning, a junior form Laurinburg, N.C., played 59 snaps and had 11 total tackles, a sack for 12 yards, three pass breakups and three quarterback knockdowns. Manning had three stops on third down and one stop on fourth down, all in the game’s final 20 minutes.
SPECIALIST – Wil Baumann, NC State, Fr., P, 6-4, 185, Wilmington, N.C. The Wolfpack’s freshman punter was invaluable in the victory over the Tar Heels. Baumann, from Wilmington, N.C., punted seven times for an average of 37.9 yards. He had five punts inside the UNC 20-yard line" |

Sterling is a true 4th year senior this year. He never played a snap this season. He'll just take a regular redshirt. No need for a medical hardship waiver or a 6th year waiver or anything like that. 11/21/2011 10:59:30 PM |

Quote : | "He finished the regular season with 70 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, five pass breakups, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two quarterback pressures, and two interceptions.
Despite missing two full games and most of another, Manning ranked No. 2 in the league in tackles for a loss, No. 7 in sacks, and No. 15 in tackles. He also led the ACC in forced fumbles and fumble recoveries." |

Glennon and Manning each racked up another Player of the Week Award
Quote : | "OFFENSIVE BACK – Mike Glennon, NC State, Sr., QB, 6-6, 232, Centreville, Va. Glennon completed 26 of 55 passes for 306 yards, five touchdowns and just one interception in NC State’s historic come-from-behind victory over Maryland. Glennon tied the school record for touchdown responsibility by passing for five touchdowns and running for a sixth, tying the mark Philip Rivers set in 2002 vs. Navy. Also, Glennon’s five touchdown passes against the Terps made him the fifth NC State player to pass for five TDs in a game, the last being Russell Wilson against Florida State in 2009.
Glennon set personal career highs with his 55 pass attempts (sixth in NC State history) and 36 completions (fifth). Glennon now has 28 touchdown passes on the season, moving him into a tie for third place with Wilson (28 in 2008) on the NC State single-season list for TD passes. Only Philip Rivers (34 in 2003) and Wilson (31 in 2009) have thrown for more touchdowns in a single season than Glennon has so far in 2011.
LINEBACKER – Terrell Manning, NC State, Jr., LB, 6-3, 233, Laurinburg, N.C. Manning helped to keep Maryland off the scoreboard the final 25-plus minutes of the game and give the offense a chance to pull off the comeback victory. He had seven total tackles, two of which were tackles for losses totalling 11 yards, and one of those was a quarterback sack for an eight-yard loss. He also caused a pair of Maryland fumbles, and recovered another. Manning recovered a blocked field-goal attempt early in the second quarter and returned it 21 yards." |

I guess it's because Manning missed 2.5 games. He is leading the conference in fumbles forced and recovered.
Tackles is 91-70 Brown. Sacks are both 5.5. TFL is Manning 13, Brown 11.5. INTs 2-2. 11/28/2011 3:47:48 PM |

jsausley All American 1031 Posts user info edit post |
Had this discussion with a friend. George Bryan didn't have a bad season, really. It wasn't his best season (that was 2009 by far) but it wasn't bad. Here are some stats:
2011 30 302 10.1 19 4 2010 35 369 10.5 37 3 2009 40 422 10.6 29 6 2008 18 201 11.2 30 4
I'm not sure if these stats include post-season play, but if so he's only got 5 less catches for 67 less yards this year than last year and one more TD than last year in one less game. This is not a bad year, it just feels like it because he has dropped some passes that he should have caught early on (most memorably, a few passes that could have won the game against Wake Forest).
^ Glennon has sucked in a number of games this year. Sorry. He has had good completion percentages in 6 out of 12 games and two of these games were against FCS opponents. Also, he has thrown interceptions in 8 games, three of which were games where he threw 2 interceptions. He has had a few great games (South Alabama was amazing if that even counts), like against Clemson and the second half of Saturday's Maryland game but overall he hasn't been that good. I know a lot of people think otherwise, but that's the way I see it, and feel free to disagree if you want... you can check his stats here.
