this win/loss pattern usually makes for a great series, especially against two evenly matched teams

Dallas played awful defense tonight but their inability to miss has bailed them out.

he went ahead and called a game for UNC to lose in the 1st half, on national television

how can you hate on that

time to turn it to ESPNNews to see Bosh do his press conference, then Wade and Lebron hold hands while they do their marriage counseling conference

for anyone watching the press conferences on ESPN News, watch how not only are Lebron and Wade the only people to do a non-solo press conference, but they're also reading off a script between them

Its funny how Dirk always refers to Terry as a "confident young man". This is the third time I've heard it and Terry is older than Dirk.

LeBron is the 50 Cent of professional basketball.

So talented, so much hype when he first entered the scene. So popular, and eventually just kind of a let down, but still somehow a huge brand/name.

good analogy

except of course that Lebron's basketball talent >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 50's rapping ability

Never ask Lebron James to give you change for a dollar, you will only get 0.75 cents.....and he will never give you the 4th quarter.

"These Dallas Mavericks go to great lengths to mess with him, hurling insults and insinuations with regularity that they never would’ve dared with different superstars. Why? Because they believe it messes with his mind. They believe the words will fester within him, keep him thinking when he ought to be reacting. Terry says James can’t guard him, and so far he’s been right. DeShawn Stevenson(notes) essentially called him a quitter in Game 4. Shawn Marion(notes) appeared to call him much worse on the floor, too.

James won’t get mad, and James won’t get even and make people pay a price. When opposing players hear people insist they ought to be respectful of James out of fear of retribution – be careful they don’t stir him with words – they privately giggle.

Great series could definitely see it going either way.

IIRC the only 7 game finals in our basketball lifetimes were sas-det and Nyk-hou, usually the finals are kinda lopsided

Would've been nice of you, Tyson Chandler, to put this same kind of effort in against Dwight Howard last year

Haha oh yeah and last year.

Lebron obviously isn't playing great but his wp/48 is still .186 for the series.

Miami's frontline is murdering the heat, bosh, haslem, and Anthony are all in the negative for gods sake. In the meantime tyson chandler is .175 essentially cancelling Lebron out.

This would be a good time to remind everyone Jordan traded a top center for Matt Carroll and ed najera.

Chandler still looks scared as hell when defended under the basket

one play that stood out was him jumping and catching a pass in the air about a foot in front of the hoop last night, and before he landed he passed it out for a midrange baseline jumper that (cant remember who shot it) missed

lebron james looks like he's dwayne wade's little brother in every video i see of them together pre or post game. like he doesn't know how to be a cool black millionaire and just follows wade around.

i think it had stats among other things but it seemed like it mightve had the talking points that their agents/handlers/advisors wanted them to mention

if you watched their presser compared to dirk, bosh, carlisle, spoelstra, etc, they looked like they were reading off the sheet during every single question, regardless of if it related to any stats

1. Wade runs into Cardinal, clearly hitting his right hip
2. Wade gets up, jovially smiling and walking around
3. Wade realizes there's a camera on him, begins holding his left hip and wincing in pain.
4. Wade falls down, continues holding left hip and grimacing in pain
5. Wade retreats to the locker room, lays on floor in fetal position
6. Wade emerges from the locker room, seemingly unphased by injury, prances around on the court like butterfly
7. Lebron is a douche
8. Wade hides in locker room for majority of 3rd quarter, wanting to make people think he's tough
9. Wade now re-emerges in heroic fashion from the locker room, instead now he grimaces in pain every time he does anything, so we think he's hurt
10. Wade refuses to discuss "injury" in post-game press conferences

Lebron couldn't win on his own so he took a pay cut and joined Miami to become part of a collective group of stars

sounds kinda like communism to me
