lotta shit going through my head right now...

it was a stressful day at work today, which is being compounded by the fact that our company is about to change hands... but I left feeling optimistic that I got a call today about a job that would put me exactly where I want to be career wise. only problem is the relocation.

so I go out to unwind and get my mind off it all, at least for a little bit, at my regular Thursday night spot for local dubs. and then, about 5 holes in, we witness a dude get totally creamed by a jeep while riding his bike. honestly thought he was done for until we thankfully saw some movement. now it makes me happy to know he is gonna make it, but fuck if it didn't make me think what a bitch I was for stressing about that other stuff which, in comparison, seems so insignificant.

Next week is my last week of my final 2 weeks "notice" but somehow they've just taken me off the schedule even though the computer generated 18 hrs. WTF?!?! I still need to work that week!!! Can they even do that!?!?

yep. two weeks is a courtesy to your employer. you could've given your two weeks and they say back to you, "just pack up your things and go now." they don't have to honor your notice.

Nooooo. I was scheduled for the 7.5 hrs way before I put in my 2-weeks notice. And then I saw the tentative schedules last night that the computer generated (which gave me 27 or so hours) and it looks like she is going to take me off for my last week of my "2-week notice".

I actually had a three day weekend but it was just rough. Friends in town, so we stayed up late every night. Friday the other wife wanted to go shopping so we spent the whole day at two different malls. Saturday I spent 9-4 at the red cross training for CPR/aed/first aid and then...she wanted to go to tj maxx. Sunday we drove to Charlotte, threw a surprise party and then drove back.
