the dry cleaners i worked at when i was 16 (hence when the cards started) a lot of patrons thought i was jewish and would ask me questions and i'd just stare at them like they were morons

I can always come up with an excuse for eating like crap. But then usually the next day my stomach hates me and tries to kill me, so I back off for a few weeks.


Usually it's when I give in to beer. I always want something salty and delicious. Like chips or pretzels. Or fried mac & cheese. Pizza. Cheeseburgers. Damn.

REALLY hope the girl who got hit in the temple by a softball from a direct shot off the bat will be all right. Girl playing short stop for the other team (playing vs. my mom's team in game 1) dove for the ball and took it straight to the head in game 2. Very sad to see her lay on the ground lifeless almost for 20 minutes and then tried to get up while vomiting everywhere.

Interview for a job in a few hours... looking back at their website and seeing my applications, it looks like I got shunted /: I applied for a product development position in a different state, I'm interviewing for a quality control technician position. Ah well. This is why there's the option to move up in a company if I get the position, and makes me feel less bad about saying I wouldn't be able to start for another 2-3 months.


On another note, does anyone know of reputable research volunteer/pay for your time thingies? Like, do a study and get reimbursement?

From my experience as a bridesmaid, friend of people who have shopped there, and bride who refused to buy her dress there but had bridesmaids who wanted to pick from there to simplify things, pretty much everyone who works at David's Bridal is an idiot. They are all surprisingly good at hiding it when you meet them, but they fuck something up pretty much every time.
