basmati is the best kind of rice for fried rice too. It's less starchy so you don't mushy fried rice

More expensive than regular white rice, but worth it.

Today was a good day. On vacation with the family at Ocean Isle all week and the beach was fairly empty. Today the crowds came out for labor day and apparently there is a cheer leading competition nearby and they have all rented the houses nearest our place.
