just heard a huge crash outside...walked out because i was sure it was a car accident. didn't see anything...thought "meh must've been nothing" and walked back inside. 5 minutes later firetrucks and EMS are flying by....walk outside again and there is a huge accident scene two houses down, one of the cars caught on fire, and like 30 people standing in the street. how did i miss that? fail....

I still have some random shit to throw into boxes I guess, but overall I am packed and ready to move everything out of my apartment. Bonus: Already moved a lot of stuff in the Jeep, so tomorrow is just the bulky stuff (and not, say, heavy ass boxes of books).

^^^ yes yes, it is, and that's why I am excited as well. But honestly, I started eating better the day after I spilled it all in that thread. I went shopping and bought a lot of good healthy grocery items.

Got back about an hour ago.

Had a medium rare burger (not good at all, plus it was medium well), sweet potato fries (good), steamed broccoli (good), and cheesecake (great). Normally that would totally not be too much food for me, but because of the stomach shrinkage due to my ultra low calorie diet for the last 2 months, my stomach was hurting once I was done with all the food.

But more importantly, the company was great and was able to Skype my wife and daughter during the meal so she could see the people I was eating with, who were her ex-colleagues.

For burgers next time I will stick with Steak House where I have had the most amazing burgers ever, twice, once rare and once medium rare.

Update: I ended up going out after the rain died down, but a bunch of motherfuckers that went to the Dayglow thing at RFK Stadium rode the metro back and covered all the seats in a mixture of paint/sweat/rain that was disgusting.

My grandmother has had advanced alzheimers for the past few years (it progressed incredibly quickly)

She hasn't been able to speak or communicate for at least the past year and has been withering away. My dad has been taking care of her.

She is in the hospital now and may pass this week.

Is it bad that I'm happy about this?
