So about 20 minutes ago, I got a picture message of a bloody finger that says "see the chunk missing..?"
What o_____o

So I text back: Who is this? o_o
Them: What?
Me: I don't have your number saved and I just got a picture of a bloody finger. I am confused.
Then: Mom...ive had this phone # for over a year...how are u confused? Haha
Me: ...what number are you trying to dial? This is (myphonenumber)
Them: I DONT UNDERSTAND....WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE?.....U KNOW EXACTLY WHO THIS IS..

Poor kid ):

^^totally. That's what we have on the guest room bed (used to be ours but we upgraded to a king a few months back) and I love it. Plan to do the same when I eventually replace what we have on the king.

This is for the kid's room And somehow it's way way hard.

lol. i still vote for solid colors. accent with cheap fun pillows that way the bedding can grow with the child's taste.

+1

We went with solid curtains and spread, but did let Silas pick out 1 set of fun sheets. He loves his "Mater Queen" sheets.

I'm leaning toward solid. I also like wide stripes in white and another color. Definitely no designs, characters etc...even though some (like land of nod) has really cute designs. He's gonna have a bunk bed though so part of me is thinking solids, and if there's a quilt design I can just get one and he can use that on his bed.

I wasn't going to say anything but white freaks me out. It's too sterile. I'd be afraid of getting something on them especially with kids.

we've had our white sheets for a year now. no stains, no yellowing. we just wash them weekly on hot with all free and clear and clorox 2 free and clear. so nice.

You don't have kids yet to pee, poop, vomit, spill, or color on them.

RIP nice expensive sheets. Sharpie.

I have a cat, and up until a few months ago she slept with us, but no, no kids in our bed. and i hope to keep it that way, but we shall see.

why are the eating, drinking, and coloring in there anyway?

Meh. I've got one but still love the all white look on our bed (well former bed, now guest). I did put a gray bed skirt on it though.

Kid's bedding is easy. Bed-in-a-bag from Wal-Mart.

Ball out: get two and some cheap throws. Kid might need some extra material for his forts.

Our bedroom is the heart of the house. We're all on one floor so our bedroom is not separate from everything else. We do bedtime, stories, family movie night, some homework... It's just where we cluster and stage everything.

I am apparently trying to destroy my feet. My right heel has a giant open wound on it from doing a hash trail on Sunday in shoes that cut me. I was lifting barefoot in the garage last night because I couldn't comfortably wear shoes because of that, and I got a 1/4-inch shard of glass in my left foot. Just now in the shower I decided to ram the bottom of my left foot against the pointy part of the shower knob. Ow.

Nah, we probably won't do a ton of Larrikins, at least the Wednesday trails. It's hard to get out there mid-week since we get up at 6. And we probably won't make SWH3 again for a couple weeks either.

We were 15 minutes late for pack off on Sunday, so we hoped to meet up with the pack on trail. Except the asshole hares laid a bogus check in the middle of a YBF that got us all lost, so everyone was leaving when we finally found trail again and got to the end. Fail.

haha yea if i miss pack off i usually just give up. I know my ass would get 8 kinds of lost. halloween wasn't so bad b/c it was downtown and I knew where "we're at slims" meant

not as easy when it's like "we're by that rock next to the that tree with the thing on it"

Same. But Aaron still wanted to do trail. They usually mark checks pretty well, but they didn't mark that one as "this isn't actually a check" because the hare was with them to tell them that and they didn't expect anyone to be late, I guess. Then we took every false off all the other checks that weren't marked.

Everyone we talked to at the on-after said they didn't even get to the YBF, so we were special.

But yeah, I would never do it alone because I have no sense of direction and I'd probably die in the woods.
