beets are sweet and delicious, with just the right amount of "earthiness". I had a "Beetnik" pizza last night (and leftovers for lunch today): golden beets, mozz, goat cheese, bacon, and rosemary. It's phenomenal.

Sucks that you have such a shitty palate.

How much is Magic really a "problem"?

Not really knowing the situation, but why's it such an issue for him to make a new friend who shares an interest with him and to do something on his own on a thursday night? Sounds like he went hashing with you yesterday, so what's the big deal?

It's not like he plays too much Magic, he just does it at bad times. Like on a weekend night (when we should be going out or something).

I'm pissed now because he can't even remember who invited him, nor did he say whether he would play with them when they asked... but he's doing that tonight, regardless.

Also, he didn't hash with me. He showed up to circle, and he's a hasher, too. So it's not like he hashes to be with me. He hashes because he likes beer and hashing.

If you guys had plans and he bailed, or he knew you wanted to do something tonight and chose that over you, then it's a problem. But if it's just a matter of "he should have known ..." then that's a little unfair to him.

But of course that is out of the context of all the other stuff you are dealing with in terms of him right now. So I understand your feelings.

yeah, not knowing any of the other circumstances, it's a bit me me me.

like the weekend is only for him spending time with you and he's not allowed to do anything on his own, only when it doesn't interfere when you want to go out or something.


Sorry, I know that's probably not the situation, but girls like that are a big pet-peeve of mine, and gives all females a bad name. Especially girls who don't let their guys play board or video games

uhhgg this has been a point of contention. He claims I steal the covers (which I don't) when we do sleep together (about once or twice a week), so he usually ends up being very separate from me.
