That is a good amount of time. We had just over a year to plan. Engaged in September 2012 and married in November 2013. You can go at a nice steady pace and it doesn't get overwhelming. We booked our venue early and had every weekend to choose from, plus we purchased a bunch of fall decor on clearance and saved it for the wedding. Saved a TON of money and now mom and I have the best decorated houses at thanksgiving and Halloween.

On my list for now, Godiva cheesecake and chocolate- pecan -cinnamon babka (twisted). I've done Godiva years ago, and it's pretty labor intensive. Some layers need to be prepared ahead of time and set overnight. So over two days. Man, it was heavy in both density and calories!

I tested too much frosting tonight. I might vomit. And it will probably be blue. I helped my sister make the most adorable minion cupcakes and marshmallows. We also made cake pops but she is putting peanut butter icing on those.
