awesome! I am so having a birthday party for my cat next May. It's his 10th birthday and dammit we should celebrate the fact that I've kept him alive for this long

Dammit zulily. You got me again. I won't be buying from you once the kid pops out because your ship times are crazy and unpredictable, but man there is some cute crap on there.

http://prideandprejudiceandkitties.com/

Quote :
"Pride and Prejudice and Kitties (originally called “Purr and Petulance”) began with the idea of combining the wicked humor of Jane Austen with the wackiness of cats. When we started out, we didn’t really know what we were doing (and that’s an understatement). We thought it was enough to take a cute cat photo and throw a quote from Pride and Prejudice at it. The idea of illustrating P&P with photos of kitties was so funny to us that we didn’t even think it mattered if the photograph related to the quote. In fact, to us it was funnier if it didn’t. Here’s an example:"

international relations

Halfway written the statement of purpose - definitely need to go back over it a few times

mostly, at this point, I'm worried about begging for letters of recommendation. Even if the professors agree to do it, I have no idea if they'll think enough of me to even put decent effort into it

and thanks

^ Ha! I was just thinking about that pasta salad yesterday for some reason. Probably because I have some dried cranberries that I've been using a lot lately.

the way you improve this is to email them your updated resume, and give them your personal statement and give them a list of classes you have taken, and remind them of the classes they teach that you took.

this makes their job easy and much more likely to write something thorough about you

^^ don't. Do what you guys want. I know at times it will be stressful and you'll have to put up with some crap, but you'll regret caving to make other people happy. At least in major ways. Concede a few small things if they don't matter to you and it will help smooth some nerves.

Are Shutterfly prints decent or drugstoresque? We got 50 free, so I am getting some. But their website says you can order through them and pick up at Walgreens or Target, so my expectations aren't super high.

If you're paying for it, do whatever the fuck with you want. If you're not, then you might have to concede some things.

Skwinkle, they are standard photos. I like making their little photo books because they are constantly sending me freebie codes. I also ordered my Christmas cards through them and they should arrive today or tomorrow!

I did my thank you notes through vista print, so they were on cardstock instead of photo paper. I freaking loved them.

We used this photo on the front:

And the back said Thank you For Helping Us Start Our Happily Ever After

I was planning to use Vistaprint, but I didn't like any of their designs or feel like doing one of my own. The Shutterfly ones have photos on the inside too, which is kind of weird, but we went with it. I figure it will be good for the people who didn't get to go to the wedding to be able to see a little more.

We went blank. The whole front is a picture and then I put a border around the text on the back. It was just a postcard. A month after the wedding when I was getting around to doing all this stuff I landed in the ER and then pretty much was in and out of different labs, hospitals, and doctor's offices until my surgery in February, so I said Fuck it and went the easy way out. it paid off. everyone loved them.

Was tested as part of a larger medical workup at the beginning of the year and everything was kosher.

I'm just fucked up lately

then there is a good chance you are borderline hypoglycemic like I am

and the tests will never confirm it because you are not as bad as some people

anyway, watch what you eat and eat small snacks throughout the day and pack a juice drink with you on long days so that if you feel like that again you have some sugar to absorb quickly
