Fuck, now I'm all anxious since I tried finding something I could bring myself to want out there in the infinite space of consumerism.

Fuck it. Maybe I can just get a decent meal and some peace and quiet for my birthday.

A lot of switches in me turned off since I started these meds... I have to kick myself in the ass just to want to shop for groceries.

Random other thoughts: Head hunters. You can almost hear the "ooga chacka ooga chacka ooga chacka" when they start talking when you answer the phone. Their MO is all the same. They're looking for people desperate or extremely willing to take a job somewhere, and if you don't sound willing and make some sort of commitment on the phone, you won't hear back from them. They will say they will email you, send you their info in the mail, etc but you will never hear back from them unless you look like a good mark for another job they're recruiting for. They want people who are desperate/ridiculously willing because it'll be a lot easier to talk them down on salary by mentioning the great opportunities that lie with this company you'll be working for in *insert location that isn't appealing at all here*. Sure you won't get paid as much as you would finding a job on your own, but hey they might make you a partner one day if they like you. Mmmhmm... I'll stick to looking for a job listed by a company, privately, unless I get in such dire straits I'm going to die as a result of running out of medication and being unable to pay my medical bills.

tl;dr: Head hunters are assholes who prey on the weak and the desperate.
