Its called adjustments. Keeats can make a helluva gameplan but once the other coach makes the right tadjustment, its a wrap. He's not a bad coach, but he's not an exceptional one either. He's just slightly above average.

We’re 71% FT on the season. That’s not good, but not terrible. But we seem wildly inconsistent from game to game. Doesn’t help that Markell has been a bad FT shooter most of the season.

Markell looked pretty locked in for much of the first half. Seemed like the zone made him way more passive.

Duke rebounded nearly 50% of their own misses (16 of 33, I believe). We were 12/19 on FTs. 5/21 on 3.

Not a great recipe for winning!

Defense was awful in the 2nd half and I blame Markell most of all. He looked like he didn’t give a crap and let his guy just blow by him to the basket, and nobody even tried to fill in the lane. Basically we looked like the pathetic bubble team we are in the 2nd half.

21 wins should get us into the NCAAs. 20 and we'd have to hope/wish/pray the conference tourneys all go chalk. Either way this year's squad is another big disappointment. Hopefully next year with a "full" roster Keatts can put it all together, though I'm not holding my breath

i think we're in if we win the next 2. obviously we'll be rooting against bid stealers and we'll sweat it out. but with 5 Q1 wins, no SOS problems....our biggest flaw is 3 Q3 losses. and that could realistically drop to 2 Q3 losses if GT jumps up 2-3 spots in the NET. i think our resume is better than most other bubble teams.

So now that GT is quad1/2, and Clemson lost to VT to drop to 81,i think we're rooting for them vs Clemson. Unlikely clemson would get back above 75 soon better to keep GT above, and that keeps us out of tiebreakers with GT. Don't think any other weekend games matter. Unc probably has an outside chance to move into top 75 if they are beat Duke but, and I say this with all due respect, fuck UNC I hope they lose by 40 (hi Earl)

Our resume really looks pretty decent. SOS isn’t an issue. Only 2 Q3 losses (0 Q4). 4 Q1 wins.

One thing hurting us is that our next two games will do nothing to boost our resume. Obviously a loss to Wake would wreck us. But we don’t have much opportunity to gain another resume boosting win unless we were to win our 2nd game in the ACCT - which would be against one of the top 4 teams. So we’re still left cheering for smaller conference not to have any bid thievery in their conference tournaments. And rooting against other bubble teams, obviously.
