If your credit card has a cash back bonus with a retailer and you order something online but use PayPal to process the charge on that card, will it still credit the extra cash back? Or does PayPal not carry over the merchant extra credit flags?

I kind of thought it wouldn't. But mine shows up as, say, PAYPAL *DRUGSTORE for drugstore.com, which has 4% cash back. I buy stuff from there all the time but I usually just charge it through PayPal. I guess I will start putting it direct on my card just in case.

And sometimes stuff doesn't show up under PayPal at all on my statement. I paid for plane tickets last night and that's just showing up as Delta. Weird.
