I'm just scanning twitter for tweets about Amile and that came up, twice. I have no idea if it is legit but the same can be said about 90% of what people post on twitter. It would make sense that he is waiting to see what CJL does. Maybe he wants to play WITH CJL because it gives him a better team.

He said he wants to come to a winning team. My knee jerk reaction is that he wants Leslie to stay. If I had to choose, I would take Leslie for another year and pass on Amile, though.

Someone tweeted that Jefferson was waiting on CJLs decision to make his decision. We were speculating on which way we though Jefferson would want CJL to go.

IF Jefferson was only going to come if CJL left, then above would rather keep CJL than get Jefferson.

Keeping both would obviously be even more ideal

i dont think its that far fetched that The Mighty Duck Man I swear to God would be waiting to see if CJL comes back or not before making a decision. Obviously, he'd get a lot more playing time here than at Duke if CJL leaves and he probably realizes the offense is more tailored for him at State than it will be at Duke. Especially with all the national recognition CJL is getting lately.

Also, I think with the way they call fouls on this team he'd have trouble even playing 15-18 minutes a game as a freshman. I think he gets whistled for five fouls in the first half nearly every game.

He should look at it like a Macadoo sitting behind Henson Zeller.

He might struggle to get some PT early, but keep proving yourself and you'll get your chance. Macadoo was getting some decent burn before Henson got hurt. Then he stepped in and did pretty well. And with Zeller gone next year, he's possibly going to be starting (and definitely starting if Henson leaves).

He's going to be a projected lottery pick before the season starts. Unless you plan on being one and done (and I don't think Jefferson is), then sitting behind a potential ACC POY is not a bad thing.

Yeah, Amile isn't a 1-and-done unless he demonstrates a highly-polished midrange and perimeter game like Luol Deng did in his 1 year at Duke. Like Leslie, Amile's size makes him a SF in the pros.

theres a taxi driver in raleigh that swears he played growing up with luol deng in africa. Says they are the same age and that Deng was like 24 his freshman year at duke.
