I've been growing avocados for about a year now. I have several plants. They're super easy. Don't expect them to bear fruit though, as the seeds you plant come from a grafted plant, most likely. If it does bear fruit it won't be for seven yrs or so. Still a pretty plant.

And that pic looks wrong, the bottom of the pit should be in the water. It looks like they've got it reversed.

Surely there is a way that I can set my browser gchat to allow notifications, and for my phone to also allow notifications, but for my phone to not ding every time someone messages me if I am actively chatting in a browser. $2,320/month covers mortgage (P&I), property taxes, HOA dues and Homeowners Insurance.

Also, there was a 0.75% origination fee, but no discount points.

I currently am in graduate school at NCSU and am interviewing with companies to start in the 65K range between January and May. My credit score range is 700-800. My debt is my car payment 485 a month, 275 in a student loan, my credit card is paid down to 0.


The girl works at a hospital and makes 30 an hour. Has worked there for going on her 10th year now so length of work and pay should be pretty good. I don't know if they account that when she works nights its 40 an hour and for holidays its 45 and holiday nights 55 an hour plus? Her credit score is in the 700's and her debt is 3,500 on one cc, 500 on another, and a car payment 300 and student loans like 100.

Anyways after responding to that.... most houses we like are 250K range. IF I get that job and we both essentially are making 130K would that be easy to secure and finance? If I am not working in the spring what should we look for? She is insistent on not renting anymore. She currently rents for 1100 a month plus bills, I rent from a friend for 550. So essentially we have been pissing away 1650 a month for a year....whatcha think WW

I had a '94 4Runner. That thing lasted 20 yrs, but that's with approx. 10-15K worth of maintenance over the years. We sold it in early 2014 for 2K.

I've got an '03 with about 150,000 miles on it. Got it a couple years ago and haven't had a thing wrong with it since (*knocks on wood). I think I'm going to keep it until it completely falls apart.

my '03 with 140k needs about 3 grand worth of work to be driveable again (steering column is slack, shocks and links are busted, something wrong with one of the axles, and there's a leak in the exhaust manifold that 3 garages haven't found... it's coming into the cabin). I really love my car, but that's like, 6 months of payments on something pretty new. And holiday obligations have got me too short on cash for the kind of down payment I'd prefer to make. I was really hoping to get one more year out of my car, since the next car I want to buy is still a model year too new for my budget to be comfy, sheeit.

The security system alarm went off at 1:30am after the sensor chose that exact time to separate from its adhesive base and fall onto the floor. Now we've got some reinforcing masking tape up there to keep that bullshit from happening twice.

Fucking waking up thinking somebody kicked the door in and find it's just poorly manufactured equipment malfunctioning. ARGH. At least now I know how disoriented I'll be when I am woken up by the alarm again.

Also seriously, 1:30am is the worst time to have the security system malfunction. Why not midday? Why not when I'm awake here in the evening? Piece of shit.
