Yea I was laid off on Wednesday. I mentioned it in my rambling thread.

My company merged with a larger one. They came in and started making cuts, but they never came to talk to me to find out what I know and what I do. They offered another girl a cut in her salary and my position or she'd get laid off. She took the offer which put me out a job.

So yea...another one bites the dust.
