^^up until the sappy stupid ending with the raft leaving, it was a good episode

all the little tidbits about a bunch of the people was better than a whole episode about one of them

the pirate ship made the episode

the raft ending sucked because the "island" or "the others" will probably only let the raft get so far before it brings them back, in which case the sappy ending tonight will be totally unnecessary and therefor stupid for devoting so much time to it

my prediction is the military was using the island as a testing site for some new type of biological warfare with a disease.. they were doing tests on animals (polar bears).. they quarantined the disease in the hatch and left it be. the "security" is the speaker system of the creature designed to keep people away from the lab

I would've been criying if the Jack/Sawyer scene had gone on any longer. That was some touching shit.
Also loved Sun and Jin reconciling and Walt giving the dog to Shannon. And it was great how they followed that up with the flashback to remind us what a bitch she was a month ago.
Basically this ep is definately in my top 5 all time TV favorites, maybe even #1.

to the noob whining: the preview is not considered a spoiler in most places. if that is an issue for you then either suck it up or go to a forum with strict rules about that kind of thiong.
