But... we first met at the St. Patty's Day party in 2007, but I was so drunk I don't really remember talking to him. I just remember saying I wanted some beer and he said "Tips or tits" ... so I sat there and thought about it ... and I remembered the Franklin St 2005 incident... so I ultimately decided against said flashing. Instead, I gave him a $20 tip -- and ended up getting all the beer I wanted for the rest of the night

Then in April, I asked Mary to introduce me to some of her single friends and I described Eric ("the bartender from St. Patty's day") and she introduced us. We talked for like 2 hours, then danced, then uhhh.... wentoutsideandmadeoutinfrontofthefrathouse.

For the record, I didn't realize it was that visible from the street.

I'd much rather be cold... I can be a bitch when its really hot (meaning inside). Although I'm not a fan of super hot temps outside either.

today i got a prescription for a sleeping pill

should i take it? i can't decide. i feel pretty tired but that is how i always feel then i just sit in bed for hours or get up a million times. but i'm kinda scared to take it.

well i have two. i have samples right now. she told me to start with rozerem and see if that works for me.

but if it doesn't then i have also some samples of ambien CR. obviously not to take following or in conjunction with the other, but just to figure out which one works because apparently rozerem sometimes doesn't work for ppl?

do you know about these?

rozarem is pathetic. it is also very expensive. insurance companies dont want to cover it for this reason. rozarem works on the melatonin pathway in yo' brain, but i found it less effective than taking melatonin.


ambien is a solid sleep drug. i havent tried the cr. make sure you take the pill and then go lay down with the lights off immediately because you can hallucinate if you force yourself to stay awake.



i say try the ambien and if thats too strong give the rozarem a shot tomorrow night.

cool thanks!! i heard from some other people that rozerem was lame. she gave me samples of the ambien CR but i think that if i ended up with an RX for the ambien i'd just get the cheapo generic stuff which is what my dad takes and it is pretty affordable like <$10.

i never had a problem waking up on ambien. sonata on the other hand, only makes me sleep 4 hrs and then wake up. ambien was too heavy for me- always felt hung over the next day.


these days i just take melatonin when i need it. being in the dark for several hrs before you go to bed helps a lot though.

i'm just apprehensive about taking any medicines in general because i just don't like it but i haven't been sleeping and i need to sleep so i'm going to give the prescription a shot. i might also look into melatonin which my dr. also mentioned. that just helps you sleep? i mean i know it is a naturally occurring chemical in the body or whatever. does it make you feel groggy at all?

i'm also starting to take an ssri now which i really really don't want to do but, whatever. i came home from the doctor with a freaking mini pharmacy!!

9. so i'm not going to take it at all tonight. it seems way too late to do so.

maybe i'll try this weekend. tomorrow night i might be having a beer and i'm not even trying to play that game. clearly not a professional prescription abuser here haha. i have like the opposite problem...i won't even take the damn medicine i'm prescribed. i mean it took me like 6 months of not sleeping to finally see the damn doctor.

i've been in a pretty bad schedule since about jan when i started full time 3-11 shift, instead of a few 3-11's, housekeeping(9-5), maint(9-5), etc..at least then i had to wake up early sometimes, so i was on a good sleep schedule. and when i had 3 jobs in sept i was on a REALLY good sleep schedule

seriously it'd be a waste not to take it since you got it today..especially if you can get 8 full hours of sleep if you go to sleep by 1, thats what the commercial says.

my sleep schedule is just that i don't. like it isn't like college where i'd stay up super late and then nap or something. its like, even when i nap i can nap for like a restless hour before i'm just like fuck this

even when i fall asleep at like 4 i still wake up at like 8 and i'm like ughhhhh just let me sleep.

i am not going to take it tonight because i don't want to feel like shit tomorrow if it makes me feel like shit. i will take it this weekend though and then tell you how it makes me feel. i just kinda want to try it on a day when i don't have to wake up and go to work ya know?
