I would start Hasselback over Manning today...the Giants are going to run all over Oakland all day.

and to repeat:

Quote :
"Ok, pick 3:

Mike Turner @SF
Glen Coffee vs. ATL
Ray Rice vs. Cin
Ahmad Bradshaw vs. OAK

I have the first 3 slotted to start, but believe the Giants will run all day on Oakland, so I want to start Bradshaw kinda."

yae, Ray Rice may be a toss up with Bradshaw...but its not JACOBS, Ray Rice is their guy along with Willis

Id say leave it like it is...

Cincy is a legit D but I just am not a fan of Bradshaw at all.

Brett Favre, Min QB
or
Tony Romo, Dal QB

Jerricho Cotchery, NYJ WR
or
Sammy Morris, NE RB

^Ocho

Favre...I wouldn't play Romo til he shows me something again.

Normally Cotch easily, but he may not play Monday. Watch inactives and start Morris if it's still in question. Some points>No points.

Brady or Flacco today? I already start moss at WR and my opponent has the denver D....so I'm worried about having too many eggs in one basket.

I need Reggie Wayne or Robbie Brown to blow the hell up this week.

Brees in on bi. And I hope he produces more than 6 points per game after the bi.

yes, I have 3 QBs.

pick 1:

lesean vs TB
tashard @ kc
d. brown @ tenn

Pick 1:
garcon @ tenn
mohamed massaqroudsf @ buf

PPR, so crappy teams passing a lot to come back usually helps

p. garcon vs. TEN

You still have to go with Moss. I would also start Garcon over Ocho Cinco, simply b/c Baltimore has shut down ocho in recent matchups, and Tennessee's pass d is disturbingly bad.

Who should I start at rb? Pick 1
Marion Barber v. KC
Marshawn Lynch v Cle
Fred Jackson v Cle

By process of elimination, I would consider Barber. Still have to wonder if the Bills' backs will still be splitting carries.....In saying that, I have a question about Lynch as well.

Pick 2 RB:

Ronnie Brown Vs. NYJ
Steve Slaton Vs. Ari
Marshawn Lynch Vs. Cle.

Eli is good to play, but I'm still thinking Matt Ryan might be a better choice (even against a tough SF defense).

YAY OR NAY, FELLOW FANTASY MANAGERS!?!

^^^^I would go barber

^^^I would definitely start slaton, but I might actually think of starting lynch... the jets defense is really good, and I think if they get it in the redzone, it will be in there air

^^interesting pick there... I would consider starting mason - I've bench him every week since week 2, but it has been a hard decision every time and I definitely regretted it last week

I'd still like some more input on peyton vs favre this week

also, I now that you have me thinking- pick 3:

Cribbs- a definite start as he gets me at least 8-10 every week off of return yards alone, and has gotten me up to 20+
TO
Derek Mason
Roddy white

and in my other league- do I start a banged up Eli going against oakland, or do I go with Matt Ryan vs a surprisingly good (yet still suspect in my mind) SF defense

^haha me and you are on the same page there...

[Edited on October 11, 2009 at 12:09 PM. Reason : eli or ryan??]

As a Giants fan I'd love to put my faith in Eli today, but it is true that they are going to just run over Oakland. I wish I had Jacobs today.

I'm going to play Ryan.

well they are definitely not afraid to pull eli when they get up in a game, and that might come early today, so I think you are on the right track there. Carr is a good enough QB that given a lead, he won't lose it

Trade advice question:

My quarterbacks are awful, I didn't draft one until very late and now my #1 is Matt Hasselbeck. I have been offered Carson Palmer for the Vikings D/ST, should I do it?

League is standard scoring by the way

I'm setteled on my QB's, but I still want more input on my WR's ...

since no one responded:

Quote :
"pick 3:

Roddy white"

and the reason i put cribbs in there and say pick 3 is in case someone knows something I don't about clevelands return game this week

No, I wouldn't. Palmer, in my opinion, isn't much better than Hasselbeck. Plus, that Vikings D will put some points on the board, as they have today. If Hasselbeck stays healthy, I think he can put up some decent numbers.

lollers. I'm up 97-58 in my only league. On my team this fantastic week and starting: Romo, Turner, Andre Johnson, Marshall.

I still have Jets D, Vinatieri, Dustin Keller (b/c Gates is on a bye) and Ronnie Brown left against my opponents Thomas Jones.

125 is the largest score so far in the league on the year.

By the way, I hope ajgoff1286 saw the Seahawks game, and Hasselbeck's performance. I thought McNabb had a great day. Hasselbeck did even better. Like I said, hold on to him and the Vikings D.

^^Well Sims-Walker is averaging 11.5 ppg before this week and White was averaging 5.7, so I was going to ride the hot-hand. Then I didn't see Sims-Walker was a late scratch from the game because of team rule violations.

Same reason people are starting Steve Smith(NYG) over Steve Smith(Car) in some leagues.
