Yahoo! Screen is going to release these weekly, much like traditional network broadcast. I am interested to see how the viewership numbers hold from week to week in this method as opposed to the Netflix/Amazon way of releasing the entire season at once.

I know I'm probably not going to remember to get on Yahoo! each week to watch an episode.

There's an app for Xbox 360 that worked fine for me to watch them, thought the second episode was better than the first, but neither were that great. I did quite enjoy the ending skits at the end of each episode though, with Shirley's spinoff and knock off gremlins.

Of course it's a different show. It would be like expecting Seinfeld to be the same if they had to replace George and Kramer. Or replacing half of the friends on Friends.

I think Frankie is going to be a really good addition to the show. As long as Abed and the Dean chang around, I'll keep watching.

There are funny moments in these episodes but they're no longer fun.

Group Chang, Frankie, and Elroy each have no real character. They exist to keep the classic group members from having all the lines.

I loved this week's episode, specifically everything in the cafeteria.

Still, the production claim that Yahoo budgets would match NBC's was clearly not true. How many press conference scenes have there been this season? Very few exteriors, etc. etc.

This season's been hit or miss for me, but I really enjoyed the new paintball episode.

^ I failed at explaining that scene to someone yesterday. It was so random and awkward I had to keep replaying it because it cracked me up so much.

Harmon is claiming they're getting 2-3 times the viewers Nielson claimed they were getting at NBC. I hope yahoo keeps this going.

I doubt it would happen, and I didn't keep up with the reasons, but is there any chance Donald glover would show back up in the future? I just remembered his meta anger on the show about Zach braff leaving scrubs in the final season after "scrubs gave him his break"...that was gold.

I've enjoyed this season a lot. Not perfect, but a step up over the last two seasons IMO.

I doubt Glover would come back in a full time role though. With his music career, plus starting his own show on FX, you'd have to guess he'd be pretty busy with other projects.

Yeah, called Atlanta on FX. Not sure if there's a premiere date or anything. I'd love to see him back, Troy was easily my favorite character - I'd settle for a guest appearance if there's another season though.
