no, i'm not trolling. and why do you think I didn't list them as being good teams. PSU got beat by Bama... at Bama. no shame in that. Iowa lost a close one to Arizona, at Zona... neither of those are "roastings" And mambagrl, can you please list the teams that beat MSU and Wisconsin??

Big 5, and others? c'mon, what conference is loaded top to bottom? not even the oft-cockchugged SEC is. Illinois has been decent recently, NW is a decent team (and getting better), Purdue has almost never SUCKED, Minnesota and Indiana however, do flat-out suck.

they played a shitfest of a 4 game schedule. wisconsin is good i'll give you that but they aren't a top 10 team. thats laughable.

michigan state is a joke though and will be exposed. no winning teams on their schedule. they squeaked by fiu and it took a miracle to beat notre dame in ot.

Wisconsin's OL is one of the best in the country, and John Clay at RB is a fucking beast. They're a top 10 team. MSU is good, but certainly not elite. how many teams outside of raleigh are unbeaten in the acc again?? remind me again which conference has played in the most BCS games.

Mississippi, Vanderbilt, Miss State, Tennessee, Kentucky would all beat Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Northwestern. Hell Vanderbilt the SEC's worst team lost by 2 at 4-0 Northwestern. Just because the Big Ten beats up on cupcakes doesn't mean they are good.

Stop trolling because you are a tOSU homer.

for some good stuff read about the UGA meltdown... they are so fucking pissed at Richt

http://uga.rivals.com/forum.asp?fid=1

their post game radio show is literally begging callers not to attack Richt when they call in to talk to him, screening callers, etc.

oh, and Tennessee would not beat Northwestern and probably not Illinois.

Some of these schedules are embarrassing.

Indiana: beat Towson, Western Kentucky, and Akron.
Northwestern: beat Vandy, Illinois State, Rice, and Central Michigan.
Michigan State: beat Notre Dame, Northern Colorado, Western Michigan, Florida Atlantic.

What exactly is impressive about any of these wins? A fake FG to beat Notre Dame for the marquee win?

one, im not trolling, im responding to others being ignorant about college football. in 2 sentences, you said vandy would beat NW, then pointed out the outcome of this year's game. good job there! and the big ten was 4-3 in bowl games last year.

look, I realize the SEC is the best conference, but people dog on the big ten b/c of OSU's 2 championship game losses, yet they don't shit on the Big 12 for OU's choke jobs in back-to-back championship games, and 5 straight bcs losses. it's perception, and the perception in this case is far from reality.

the big12 is not a top conference either. they just get publicity for not playing defense and making their qbs appear to be demi-gods.

i wouldnt be surprised if the big10/acc challenge was extended to football that we wouldnt do better than most would expect. the acc got destroyed this year OOC vs BCS teams but most were away games against legit teams

if miami had a real qb they wouldve beaten ohio state. they dont, but still

iowa is clemson-level except clutch instead of chokers

penn state is "coached" by a corpse. the royster/bolden combo would make past VT offenses blush

michigan meh. kinda gimmicky right now, iffy defense.

msu is mediocre. beating ND in OT is nothing to write home about

wisconsin is legit but not a powerhouse

ok we'd probably still get rolled but only because the acc blows. pac10 is >>>>>>>>>>> big10 this year. big12 might be equally shit after texas/ou got exposed today

As a whole those five teams are better than the ones you listed. Beating up on Notre Dame does not mean the Big Ten is on the SEC level. What win does the Big Ten have that really stands out besides tOSU against Miami?

So according to some computer ranking system, the ACC is worse than the Mountain West and the WAC

The public perception is that the Big Ten plays shit schedules and then shit the bed against good teams. Something they are doing yet again this year....

oregon has basically played 2 high schools. and it depends on how you measure defense.

for bigten marquee wins... there havent been any other big games played. but other than minnesota shitting the bed to an fcs school, and purdue losing to toledo, there havent been any embarassing losses.

^who are they shitting the bed against this year, exactly?

no the acc is better in the computers. those rankings are retarded because it gives the MWC and WAC a billion bonus points for boise and TCU (and utah). if the acc really blew as hard as ESPN wants it to F$U wouldnt have raped BYU in back to back years

also vandy lost by 2 @ n'western. in vegas home field is worth 3 points. just sayin'

Not saying you're wrong but I wouldn't use FSU as an example considering they are the only team to make OU look like a legit Top 10 this year. Three mediocre performances and a stomping of FSU for OU this year...

no its 50% computers that I think are used in the formula and 50% one of the polls

if its measuring who has the best shot to have a team make the national championship it might be accurate. as a full measure of a conference its stupider than killpups thinking the SEC should invite ECU

tennessee would fit in perfectly with the big 10 tbh

shitty, boring offense
destroy directional team in your state
get blown out by legit SEC teams
barely escape against a mediocre non-BCS conference team in your area
