i hope HoW brings a lot of people back. they have already showed material exchange, weapon upgrades, reforging (!) plus the reef space.

looks like the HoW weapons will not have damage upgrade nodes. you will just automatically upgrade to 365 when you get the new material.

^^ if they had made any indication with scrota that vog gear was upgradeable i probably would have kept some. otherwise it's just guessing. should i keep blue gear too? green? at this point bungie is about as consistent as the ncaa

I'm just tired of Bungie changing shit up constantly. They have no plan for this game at all and its painfully obvious. Just a group of dudes sitting in a room going, "what do we do now?" How many types of energy and shards are we gonna go through? You telling me i need to keep all the VOG and Scrota shards/energies? Because I didn't have enough room in my inventory as it was, much less if i have to keep all that shit on me as well. Will there be new kinds or is taht stuff from the beginning of the game gonna come back to be used too? So everything I pick up I need to keep because its gonna be useful next year or can I go ahead and shard something that does 100 less damage per bullet? Theres no plan...no future. Just made up bullshit.

I'll give them credit, some of the changes they make are good. More weapon storage in the vault is nice.

They have increased the vault sizes

No one runs out of vault space where coins shards etc. go anyway

and pull the stick out of your ass they're doing a much better job than any of the games i'm used to playing..

Unless you're an MMORPG kinda guy then yeah maybe they don't have some crazy lucas film worth story like they did with halo but it's a pretty decent game.

If you read once you upgrade your shit with radiant shards/ ascendant shards etc. you're done all you need is the new etheric light to upgrade it to 365 max.

i think i'm about 20% strange coins 10% Am 60% legendary weapons (crucible/vangaurd/faction) and 10% worthless exotics or duplicate (no land beyond or my 5th icebreaker for example)

^ got a new fusion rifle earlier. haven't tested it out though.

edit: and just got a new pulse rifle. salvage has had drops almost every other round for someone in the game. I HATE salvage but nothing wrong with farming some legendaries if they are dropping that easily

PoE has lvl 34 and 35 game types. level 34 gets you guaranteed etheric light weapon core. level 35 gets you etheric/armor/weapon core. so yeah you need to level up to be competitive at those levels.

The Kill bounties are fun as hell.

Find it a little strange that you need to ascend House of Wolves items. I figured it would have been a normal leveling track, just with the top end damage already built in.

Went ahead and used some exotic shards to upgrade my most used exotic weapons/armors. I like that you don't have to re-grind to upgrade those this time.

I do like the new bounties. They are much better than that bullshit eris morn had. Anyone tried the new strike yet?

just completed level 34 PoE. it was pretty tough. took about an hour and a half with my buddies. should take like 45 minutes or so since we have our strategies now.

used my etheric light on boots so now i'm 33.5. It'll be nice to have 34 on a character to make it easier to get my other ones up.

Yeah that sidearm is nasty, even at a decent range.

PoE is entertaining, takes a minute to get used to it once they throw in those secondary objectives.
