jesus, that looks brutal. terrible luck for PG. really changes things in the east without both lance and pg which means pretty much a lock for a cavs bulls ECF.

We should outlaw sports because of the possibility of injuries

Also E Man is right. Players never used to get injured until just recently

In 5 years, he'll be one of the top 5 players in the league. Manziel will probably be in prison.

Because, Cleveland.

i don't think rose is mentally prepared to go up against real competition either, but he's still a baller. given the current state of the NBA, a healthy chicago team would be the logical favorite. Rose has been out of the game for so long now but chicago is lucky they were able to be carried on the back of arguably the best center in the NBA the past 2 years and still steal 4/5 seed positions.

with a healthy rose and the pickup with pau gasol, i'd put big money on them locking in the #1 seed while cleveland adjusts to having lbj back working the system around him.

obviously. noah is a monster. the only reason they've been 1,2 round burnouts is because of rose being out.

taj is better than pau at this point, he's fairly washed up.

Noah is terrific though, he's always been the bulls best player.

Indiana will be absolutely terrible without PG and Stephenson. They should trade D. West since no one wants Hibbert and rebuild.

Charlotte is really a SG away from being the best team in the East if Kemba can break out this season.

Love and Lebron are probably the best two players in the league not named Durant so if Irving finds his game this season the Cavs could be pretty damn good.

I'd say SAS - Cle final with the Spurs winning 4-1.

Really a good chance for Hornets this year. No team can dominate the east. We can start from dominating southeast first.

yeah i think our best lineup is

Kemba / SG that we trade for midseason / Stephenson / MKG / Jefferson though.

MKG, Stephenson, and Jefferson both rebound well enough that i like us going small.

Really think we're planning on using MKG more at the 4 and thats why we let mcroberts walk, but i could be wrong and we could stupidly play Marvin there a lot.

Marvin, Zeller, biyombo, neal, and hairston is an NBA level bench. Have we ever had one of those in our existence? I can't even think of a good 7th man we've ever had off the top of my head

^^ MKG will not consistently play the 4. He's too small. They may play small ball for stretches, but in general it looks like the Hornets will have:

PG: Kemba/Roberts/Pargo
SG/SF: Stephenson/Hairston/Neal
SG/SF: MKG/Henderson
PF: Marvin Williams/Zeller/Vonleh
C: Jefferson/Biyombo

I think the most glaring needs are on the front line, not at SG at this point.

That lineup, without injuries or additions, can compete for a top 4 seed in the East, but would need some luck to get past the EC semis. Seems a step behind the Cavs and Bulls.

^^Ely was the only player in franchise history PBA (Pre-Big Al) with a low post offense

Every now and then try wiping Arturo's nut out of your eyes and watching a game

He's literally the 2nd best offensive scoring big man in franchise history behind Jefferson. Okafor and your man-crush Chandler did nothing but catch easy rebounds 1 foot from the basket and lay it in or dunk it

Short of wall magically becoming a stud or Bealbeing ready II'm not worried about them at all.

Ely sucked he's one of the worst rebounding/defending big men in league history. The guy fucking sucked.

Mkg can play the pf a lot and he should . He can'tshoot well enough on the wing

^^Even that first year I think Wade was slipped from top 5, to top 10.

I'm starting to think the Cavs are going to just run through the league next year. I know the Heat had some issues that first year trying to mesh together....but that was 90% Wade still thinking he was the man in Miami and Lebron deferring to that. They realized that wasn't the case and crushed it the next year even with Wade hobbling and got lucky and beat the Spurs the second year.

There is no debate on who is the man on this team. Kyrie has his contract and Love has his (next year of course). So the young guys won't be playing for money, they'll be playing for championships.

I only wish Cleveland was in the Western Conference so we could see a great series in every round. Instead we'll see them bludgeon through the Eastern Conference playoffs and just have fun watching the Western Conference teams duke it out.

I agree with him. Kevin Love is top 5 player already. Probably since 2012. Many people called him the new Bird.

I've never heard anyone call him the new Bird

If you're saying someone is a top 5 player, unless you're talking about Lebron or Durant, you're basically talking about a top 3-5 player. I'd definitely put CP3 and Curry above Love. And on talent probably guys like Harden, Howard, Melo, (a healthy) Kobe, Kawhi, etc

Also Love's numbers will go way down since he doesn't have to fill the stat sheet as the only player, so he certainly won't put up top-5 or top-10 numbers with Cleveland.

And I know it's in the West, but he could never even lead Minnesota to a .500 record? Top-5 players can lead teams to the playoffs. Plus he doesn't play defense.
