yes, at this point I think it's safe to just hand the ball off the rest of the game. no need to risk any injuries 11/22/2015 3:46:33 PM |

you can't control the fact that you've only played one team with a winning record
it's not about SOS or RPI in the NFL -- you just have to keep winning those games!

This game turned in the Panthers favor when a phantom illegal contact was called that negated an interception for a touchdown. It killed the Redskin's momentum. Cam had a good day passing, but it seemed like a lot of interference calls came in to extend Carolina drives. I still like the Cowboys oin Thursday. 11/22/2015 5:17:13 PM |

Panthers win 44-16 and this douche trying to act like one call made the game.
Washington had 12 yards rushing. Give me a break. 11/22/2015 5:39:19 PM |

Like I said, I didn't like it either, but anytime you extend a forearm into a players head/neck area, it's a personal foul. That's a routine call in today's NFL, nothing phantom about it.11/22/2015 5:51:18 PM |

Gonna be interesting to see where we fit CJ into the defensive end rotation. Ealy has been playing so damn well at the LDE spot lately, I don't know if you mess with that...... 11/22/2015 6:37:30 PM |

Well we brought in Allen to fill-in for CJ...so...think it makes sense that CJ would take that starting spot back. Think we'll just rotate Allen in with Johnson, should really help with our DL depth, esp. late in the game. 11/22/2015 6:52:48 PM |

I can not get enough of the Panther's rushing attack. The offense has actually been pretty balanced the last few games, and this really helps the run game, but I'm like in love with our backfield. JStew is rapidly becoming one of my favorite all-time panthers, and his brutal running + Tolbert lead blocking and other versatility + Cam keeping the ball every now and then + our Oline being ON POINT the past few games, man it is just fun to watch them grind down defenses and eat up yardage and time.
I was kinda unsure when Gettleman let Deangelo go (cause even then I was a big Jstew fan and I bought way too much into the double-trouble hype), and Deangelo is having a solid year in his own right, but you can't really argue that decision was a bad one.
Here's to hoping all of these guys stay healthy and the Panthers can keep pounding the ball on the ground for the rest of they season.

Hard to believe our rushing attack has been so good with two undrafted free agents, a "washed up" movie star (and Kalil and Turner). 21 consecutive 100 yard rushing games. That's just insane 11/22/2015 9:28:13 PM |

^i wouldn't say we peaked early...already made it through 10 games. I know there is a lot left to go though. I'd say the Falcons are a team that peaked too early.
This game vs the Cowboys worries me. It's a short week, in Dallas, romo and Bryant are back. I could also see them making a run and the panthers having to play Dallas in a second round playoff game. 11/22/2015 9:58:14 PM |

I do agree it's pretty impressive that the Panthers have had their 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012 first round picks all miss games (if not the whole season), yet the still have the best record in the NFL. Impressive indeed. 11/22/2015 10:29:39 PM |

Not to mention that the Panthers, even while winning early, clearly weren't playing great ball. The last few games have been much more complete, all around efforts. OL is coming together. DL is looking strong. Stew is running hard. Funchess is finally getting involved. Cam has been, seemingly, better every single week. It was easy to dismiss that 5-0, or whatever, start because not only had the competition been (old, tired excuse I know) but the team didn't seem to be playing great. They're really just now coming together in the last couple weeks it seems to me like.

3 days of prep time will be worse on the Cowboys than it is on us, especially considering our starters only played 3 quarters yesterday. With that said, I think both offenses play fairly well and we got an entertaining game with a lot of points. It may come down to who has the ball last, but I think a late Romo turnover lets us run out the clock for a W. 11/23/2015 11:29:26 AM |

^the demand for luck is gonna be infinitely higher than the demand for newton
