i have had, quite possibly, the WORST spring break ever. (monetary amounts = crap for my GD car)

for starters, I was sick all last week w/ strep throat. When I left the student health center, my car wouldn't start. I called AAA and got them to bring me a new battery ($130). Because I was so sick, I even missed a midterm. i had planned to make it up on monday. because of the snow, my professor decided to hold off on administering the exam until 3pm on Tuesday. I didn't get home until 7pm Tuesday night.

Yesterday, I spent the large majority of the day at a plastic goods manufacturing facility doing research for a simulation project.

Today, I was supposed to go to the beach. I needed an oil change ($40), so I went and got that. While there, the guys told me the inner part of my two front tires was worn down almost to the metal. Therefore, I went to go get new tires ($175) and an alignment ($???). While waiting on that, I was told my car's tags expired last month (whoops). I was also told that they could not perform an alignment because I needed new parts for my axle rod or some bullshit. So, I got the tires on, renewed my tags ($28), called my dad and told him all this and he was pissed, he called and ordered parts ($200) and knows a guy who will do the labor ($50).

Needless to say, I am NOT going to the beach now.

FML. for real.
