there is something disturbing about the fact that the have to be artificially inseminated to reproduce though. i mean, if you can't have sex, you probably shouldn't be able to reproduce. but they sure are cute. too bad if i ever get a dog, i'm adopting so no trendy frenchie for me. but awwwwww!!!

Oh man.. I am glad you reminded me to call the other vet to get an appointment so she can get rechecked.

She is still leaking :-( She finished up her meds yesterday and we're waiting to see if she develops another UTI. The vet did a culture on her urine and found large amounts of e coli and thinks this is causing her organs to become inflammed and leak. The vet says that its vaginitis and spaying should help. Hopefully when they spay her, they will be able to see if her bladder is put together...

i watched dogs 101 on animal planet last night (i am SO, so very cool) and apparently they are too top heavy so the male cannot successfully mount the female.

true story. and since the are so top heavy, the vaginal canal is not big enough (a lot of times) to deliver SO they have to have c-sections.
