Reasoning behind it: If it's Mucinex D I am guessing that means it has pseudoephedrine in it. It's a good decongestant but it's also used in making meth. Even at the suggested dose, for many people, it gives them palpitations, makes them jittery, and works as a very strong stimulant. It makes me feel sick and makes my heart race, and I can't take the stuff unless I'm very very sick with sinus problems (because at that point I'm lucky just to be awake and out of bed, so taking strong shit is no biggie).

Drink a lot of water and just hold on. It'll wear off soon, and for future reference: Don't take it at night. Pseudoephedrine will keep you awake if you're not really really dead tired and sick.
