I guess I can try to go to sleep now. The spackling is sanded, the (false) doorknob is installed on the door, and I managed to jam some plastic sheeting under the door and around the doorway so I can get paint all over the damn place tomorrow.

Fuck my neighbors. Fuck my stupid, worthless, foreign, lead-footed, inconsiderate, retarded ass neighbors.

I'm going to issue them an ultimatum depending on how the meeting goes this tuesday. They keep this stupid shit up every fucking night and there will be a complaint filed for every single night where they keep making noise like this. They've been told on a dozen occasions to be quiet at night and not to walk like goddamn gorillas, but that's apparently a very difficult concept.

If the management agency changes and the HOA feels compelled to do some good around here people like that will get thrown out of this complex.

Yeah it's funny but it's goddamn retarded.

I've made it a point not to be passive aggressive about shit like this with my neighbors, but when they're blatantly ignoring any courtesy and making a shit ton of noise every night between 10pm and 7am (after having been told on many many occasions in person to shut the fuck up and to keep it down because we sleep at night) it seems like they're just asking for the problem to get escalated.

Luckily, their being shitty lends to the argument that the property management company needs to be changed to somebody else (they do not do a good job here, unfortunately, and are squatting in this complex's clubhouse instead of actually leasing an office, lol). It's also got a number of people in the HOA pushing to have quieter, more professional folks moved in here with better/stricter rules as far as quiet hours, property maintenance, etc.

I mean, if I go to either side of my apartment right now, into my roommate's bedroom, or into my bedroom you will hear creaking and thumping as these dumb motherfuckers go walking back and forth constantly with no more than a three minute break between stomping. What I probably need to do is just move the fuck out of here to a townhouse sometime soon, and maybe hire somebody to break their kneecaps for my roommate (I don't have to have a lease, he does) so they can't walk any more.
