what was eric trying to accomplish by feeding on the witch? he should've just ripped her throat out and been done with it.

It's because they want the drama. And you are keen enough to pick up on the BS. Welcome to the club.

That episode was a waste. There was absolutely nothing entertaining about it.

And with this drama over the baby, boobs or GTFO!

lol at the ending with eric... but enough with tara and the panthers (especially tara - i get uncomfortable watching her)... jason could be better utilized

in general, it just feels like nothing really happened... the preview for next week made me feel like i've probably already seen the whole episode (i'll still be tuned in of course)

I was pleased with this episode. eric's last line was great.

the baby doll thing is stupid. they should've just left the creepy doll in the bedroom as a metaphor.
BOO!!!!! at Jessica glamoring Hoyt

lafayette...smart guy. tara...go back to n'awlins! sookie...embrace the cubby and its contents. and it's bout time alcide was back.

they need to get Jason's plot line moving, it's become stagnated...i mean they didn't even advance it in this episode, yet devoted a lot of time to filming him and Crystal and all that. what's the point?

I thought the scene where she was raping him was really fucked up. Sucks to see Jason reduced to that

^^huh? did you even watch the episode?! I think it definitely was moved forward seeing as how he's now changing into a panther, we learned about ghost daddy, and he was being raped/forced to impregnate crystal and how he's now got a queue going on.

I don't see what he found so awesome about her to begin with. She isn't really that hot which was pretty much all that Jason cared about when he met her.

Just realized that Sookie's uncle in the first episode of the season was Lumbergh from Office Space.

"Yeah Sookie, I'm gonna need you to go ahead and give this pocket watch to Jason. Thaaaaaaaaaanks."

can someone explain wtf that whole "ghost daddy" story was? I know they were trying to clue us in on the history of the werepanthers and whatnot, but it did not make sense to me. I hope they go extinct, that whole plotline is lame.

Unfortunately, Jason's arc is getting to be as bad as Tara's. The cop thing was stupid. This panthers white trash things is even worse.

I just read the caption on that photo -- no makeup at all. Apparently she has perfect skin and no blemishes and requires very little makeup on set.

This wiccan plot line is getting worse than the MaryAnne plot line from S2. And the panther/ghostdaddy crap with Jason is even worse.

Not much good happening this season. I pretty much do a  after every scene. Only good part is the Nan/Bill thing that hopefully turns into something and Eric is funny once in a while.

I like where things are going with Eric and the witch actually being a threat to the vampires but the actual witch herself seems just kind of annoying. I feel like they are trying to do too many plotlines though. Eric's lost memory, the witch lady being possessed, Sam and that shifter woman, Terry and Arlene's baby, Jessica and Hoyt's haunted doll thing, Sam's brother, Bill's great great great great great granddaughter that he plowed, and Bill + Nan Flanigan's stuff.

^ i agree. I feel like they've alotted each one 10 minutes and split amongst 3 to 4 scene. Mix them all up and boom theres the show.

It almost feels like they are trying to turn the show into a damn comedy... a very cheesy comedy... it seemed like every scene last night ended up with ;facepalm; laughter... other than Lafayette, only actually funny character.

"you killed my fairy godmother'... really? lame

They could be doing so much more with a demonic baby. I prefer watching Sex and the City over this show.

yeah, there are too many sub-plots (which are mostly not that interesting)... but that's not new for TB.

What's the deal with the doll that Jessica gave to the baby? Hoyt said something about chucking it in the water or something and it ending up back in the house somehow. I must have missed that from last season.

at the very end of last season when they arrive to the house, the camera pans out and the creepy burnt up doll is lying in the middle of the floor of the next room.

I must be the only one who thinks the show is awesome the way it is. I love all the little subplots.

Of course I've also been a lifelong Days fan so maybe my brain is trained that way

I don't mind the little subplots as long as enough time is spent on the meat of the story (which I feel like it hasn't yet) or it's obvious/possible that the subplot will crossover in to the meat of the story. Some of them do look like they will start coming together & overlapping in to the meat--at least I hope so.

Example...subplot that I just don't care about: About 5 minutes of this past episode could've been spent elsewhere, but instead we got to listen to Tommy talking about how he can read good now. And now he's gonna get thrown back in to the dog fighting biz? We dealt with this last season...keep that book closed and move forward with the gas rights (which sucks anyway and is a waste of screen time IMO) if we're going to be focusing on Tommy at all.

I do mind the endless introduction of new characters. "Oh great, hot shifter has a kid...jeez...OH and a crazy ex bf that's a werewolf? Yay...can't wait to meet him...stop it with the new characters already!" However...if a good number of these new characters die by the end of the season then fine. Introduce and kill em off quickly!

All I want from TB is more Eric, Alcide, Pam, Lafayette, and Jessica & Hoyt (sans dirty baby)...with a nice dosage of Terry, Andy, and Nan's awesome power suits.

I miss the first season where it was just vampires and a serial killer. Everything was relevant to that.
