i caught one that probably weighed about a pound in lake raleigh on the canoe. i've got a pic on my camera, but idk where the usb cord is. never really done much crappie fishing.

that's kinda what happened that day. we were bass fishing and kept seeing something feeding on top. i tied on a rapala floating minnow and that crappie nailed it. caught a few on a spinnerbait while bass fishing in the canoe at lake wheeler.

but i'd probably just go buy a harbor freight manual winch like goes on a boat trailer and weld that bitch on real quick
