the lag in this game is really starting to piss me off. the m16 typically takes one 3-round burst to kill someone. there were a bunch of times tonight when i would unload 2 bursts on someone, and i'd still end up getting killed. it happens way too frequently for it to be a result of that death streak perk that gives you increased health for a couple seconds. i forget what it's called.

That's not true at all. Sometimes I watch the Killcam to make sure I even hit the guy and I do see blood spatter on his screen at time with fire coming from my weapon. There is a theory about IW distributing the lag to all players to make it fair somehow.

I watch the kill cam quite a bit and almost always see blood splatter on their screen and flashes coming from my gun when I'm pretty sure I hit the person. So if you're sure you're hitting them that sounds like an interesting problem.

what i described isn't really camping though. it's not like i pick a cheap spot on a map and stay there for an extended period of time just waiting for random people to walk by. if you can anticipate someone walking by you from using your radar, heartbeat sensor, or he saw you run into the area you're in, it's smart to hunker down and try to get that kill rather than run straight at him. the game is too unforgiving with health. and as soon as i do get that kill, i'm up and moving to another area because i know guys on the other team know that i'm there. if i ever find myself in one place too long i always get up and move because i don't want to look like a camper. watch kill cams. i can't tell you how many times someone has seen me coming without me noticing them, and they go straight for a corner and hide in it til i walk by and get killed. it's playing smart as opposed to playing like a bitch.

^yeah, it's amazing how campers aren't much of a problem anymore. They used to give me a lot of trouble, but after I got the ninja pro perk and learned how to run in the shadows and pick off the people who try to follow me, they account for most of my easy kills instead of the other way around.

I've never used the blast shield. When I do use the Riot Shield though, I'm constantly swapping back and forth between it and my secondary weapon (currently a M93 Maffica or whatever its called). If I'm climbing a ladder or something, I have it on my back...if I'm going around a corner, I'll have it on my front.
