i hate i mean HATE time warner cable [new]

i just cancelled my service with them, now i don't know what i'm going to do. oh wellll i have a few months to figure it out since i'm not in greensboro right now. i'd almost rather not have cable than deal with those assholes again. almost.

ha. Time Warner has to have the biggest bunch of dumbasses working for them ever. We had HD cable installed at our office in raleigh and on the day of the install they call and say they're ready to set it up at one of our jobsites in chapel hill. uhmm...wrong place dumbass. Had them come to Raleigh and set the stuff up like they were supposed to. Couple weeks later, we get the bill for the jobsite and it shows that they have an HD cable box there. There like "our records show that HD has been installed in Chapel Hill". :carl face: 20 calls later and we still haven't gotten them to switch it to the correct bill. now they're supposed to send a technician out to check on it.

yea my bill was totally screwed up with them and it wasn't my fault. ok it might be like 5% my fault for not paying attention to my bank statements (but i've had a lot going on, but i'll still accept 5%-10% of the blame). if my bill is set up on automatic draft, and you draft it for a year that way and then randomly stop, it might be nice to notify the person, call them, send them a bill, you know...little things. i mean i'm pretty cool, but i'm neither psychic nor a twc representative soooo a little help would have been nice.

and my cable was already discounted because they screwed up when they installed it. ughhh. i hate them.

it's a total clusterfuck. We had them run internet and phones for chapel hill and the idiots assigned the static ip address there that was already at another one of our sites near Wendell. Get a call saying their internet isn't working, drive all the way out there and hook directly to the modem with the static ip and nothing. Call Time Warner and they're like "well everything looks good on our end, could be a problem with the modem. We'll send out a technician in the next couple days". Next day I get a call from time warner saying they fucked up.

yea they screwed up when installing my cable, so i bitched and got a reduced rate. THEN apparently for some unknown reason my bill wasn't drafted out of my account so i got charged with a late fee, which i refuse to pay. and they never called me to say like "oh your payment didn't go through" and the big shocker is, i just paid my bill, with the same damn account that my automatic draft was set up on. soooo the problem clearly isn't me. and even if they didn't call the least they could do was send me a paper bill or a notice or something??? but no, nothing. i guess i should have checked my bank statement, my bad. but now they're all trying to make me pay the late fee, no i'm not doing it. so i said do not charge me another penny, i'm turning in my box next week.

i just had a bout with the city of Raleigh over a water bill- I woke up yesterday and my water was turned off. Turned out they never got the last check I sent them- well fuck'em, they should have told me... sent me a notice, call the number on the acccount, etc... Instead they turn off the water and charge me an extra 25 bucks to have it turned back on. What a bunch of cunts



also, fuck USPS- that is two important things they have failed to deliver for me over the last couple of months... first it was my W2 that I mailed to the CPA, and now this
