So last night around 4 am I am really close to falling asleep and I hear a pounding at the door. I'm like wtf, and I try to ignore it thinking it's a neighbor or something and I don't wanna deal with it or maybe I was just imagining it. Then I heard it again and it was louder. So I was like fuck. I get dressed and go to the door and it's a cop.
He was like who lives in the backroom, and I was thinking "oh fuck what did I do???" but I said, "me" and he said "did your room get broken into?" and I was like "uhhhh no"

He told me that I should shut my window because my neighbors were robbed just half an hour ago and they went through their window. That is when I realized I was super lucky that I wasn't laying in bed and someone came and poked their head in my window....
